Fancy Pants

Today, I present you with an outfit from another day!

top: forever 21
shorts: thrifted; gap
shoes: kmart; bongo
belt: thrifted
sunglasses: h&m

These busy shorts were originally gaudy pants! I spotted their high-waisted glory at the St. Vincent de Paul shop up the road and decided they needed to be made into shorts. The resulting look is this. I actually really like them and they're super light and comfy. I'm just having a hard time thinking of anything to pair with them other than a black t-shirt.

If you have any brilliant ideas on how else to style these magnificent shorts, let me know.

In other news, I'm at school again and have successfully completed my last first day of band camp. Once this week is over it'll be easier to keep up with all of your blogs, so hang tight! Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Jeanie. I'll relay them to her if she hasn't seen them yet!

Whoa, those were pants? Nice job! That's a lot of print for pants, but they look really cute as shorts! I think they'd also look good with a yellow or teal top or maybe even a simple blue and white striped top.

you have the greatest collection of high waisted shorts, I love it! ♥

I would also cut them ; ) about matching them with something... maybe with classical shirt and 1/2 sleeve jacket (and high heels) or worker shoes and denim jacket (like a rebel ^^ )

They're so lovely! *___________*

Eeep- you are a styling genius! That is so smart to make shorts. Pants may have been a little much, haha. But you turned them into something completely freaking adorable! I guess they could also work with a white top too, or maybe a light colored denim button-up :) Either way, you look so awesome and I'm glad you are having a good first week back at school!
