September is Summer

I made an attempt to wear a cardigan the other day, but I was dying walking to class in it as it's still in the upper 90's here. I wore it the whole day though because I think this outfit would be a bit bare without it.
romper: xhileration; target
shoes: self esteem; shoe carnival
cardigan: forever 21
flower hair clip: forever 21
necklace: unknown - found it in a drawer
sunglasses: big lots

I really like this hummingbird necklace. It had been in one of my drawers back home for who knows how long. I re-discovered it over the summer.

Jeanie and I went to an Of Montreal concert last night at The Georgia Theatre. It was pretty awesome, as usual! They're so crazy and I love it. It is pretty annoying being short and going to standing concerts, though. Why does every 7-foot-tall guy have to stand right in the front? They can see everything from the back! Not to mention the people who get there 15 minutes before the band goes on and shove their way through to the front. Some guy shuffled sideways all the way so he was right in front of Jeanie, completely blocking her view of anything. So she yelled at him and it was hilarious. Then you have drunkies that lose all personal space cues (which I realize is a very small amount when in a concert situation) and lean on you for minutes at a time. Ew. At least the music is worth it!

There's a busy Saturday of football ahead of me, so I'm not sure how relaxing this weekend will be. It'll be fun though! Have a fantastic labor day weekend!

I had the same problem with the heat and a 3/4 length shirt yesterday. Can't it just be fall already?! Love your outfit though :)

Awww this outfit is adorable! I agree, the sweater goes really well with that romper. Side note, I love Of Monteral! Concerts always seem to have the most interesting people :)

ohhhh this outfit is so wonderful, that romper is gorgeous and the pattern on it is perfect. The colour of the cardigan is so rich and lovely. Its the worst at concerts when people invade your personal space!

Really cute outfit, love the print on the romper! I'm pretty short and always find some annoying tall person stands right in front of me too, gah! :) x

What an adorable outfit!! I love the colors in the pattern of your romper, and the plum sweater goes so well (wearing it was a definitely a valiant effort ). I can't lie- I'll be happy when it cools down a bit so we can layer!

I love this outfit, it reminds me of something familiar I wore on my holiday, but then with other colours. Very lovely!

I'm a FL girl, so I feel your pain. Even standing outside taking outside pics is sweat inducing. Oh well. We will get our fall sometime in mid-November :)

Oh I can't agree with you more about being short at concerts. Sometimes, I want to knock the tall guy out. Just so I can see! It's so frustrating! At least it gives me an excuse for wearing blisters from crazy heels.

The dress is stunning btw x

Glad you had fun at the concert! Those shove-to-the-fronters always drive me crazy. So rude! ;)
