Story of Suede Shorts

You can't really tell in these pictures, but these suede shorts are incredibly tight in the waist. I fought through it though because I'm cool like that.

The shorts were only a dollar at the super cheap thrift store by home. I come across the most random things at that place. I think another trip there is in order over Thanksgiving break.

^Stone Face^
shorts: wilson's leather; thrifted
top: delia*s
blazer: talbots petites; thrifted
scarf: lila boutique; gift
tights: forever 21
shoes: forever 21
sunglasses: forever 21

I like how these shorts look, but I'm not sure I'll wear them again unless I magically wake up with a smaller waist. I just don't have a very hourglass shape. There's not a whole lot of waist definition; I'm more straight up and down. I just try to create the illusion of an hourglass shape (What Not To Wear told me I'm supposed to do that) ha.

I'm leaving for St. Augustine, Florida in the morning for the Georgia-Florida game! I'm pretty pumped as it's always a fun trip. It'll be even more fun if we win!

Happy Thursday!

Ah the joys of being small!! I love those tights and they looks great with the shorts. It's hard when you have something you love the looks of but the waist is too small, boo

I think the shorts do give you a big of an hourglass shape but if it's too tight, forget it. Clothes are supposed to be comfortable. Or... at least the sacrifice is supposed to be worth it.

Oh I do love that those shorts are suede! I totally know what you mean about high waisted shorts not fitting me, except for me the rise is always too short, causing some serious uncomfortableness. haha.
I hope you have on your trip and that your team wins!

The beauty of those shorts is that they create an hourglass out of a waist! I like em. And those red tights--fab!

Ah, I have a pair of high waisted shorts similar to these that just kill my waist as well :( Gosh, why do some of the cutest clothes have to hurt so badly!

Anywhoo, I love the pop of red you've done with these tights! So spectacular and chic xx
