Best Dressed

I attended the marching band banquet last Sunday and decided I needed to wear my new Modcloth dress. I ordered it with a giftcard I got for my birthday. I wore it to Thanksgiving dinner too. Pretty much any excuse to wear it is good enough for me. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of how I wore it before. This time I went with patent leather and gold accessories. The shininess gives the outfit a little fancy, festive feel!

dress: modcloth
belt: thrifted
tights: kmart
shoes: shoe carnival?

earrings: mom's
necklace: from italy
bow: h&m

Isn't the pattern on this dress neat? I love the colors too. They're so bright and fun and make it so there's plenty of options to mix it up later. Plus the shape of the dress is pretty much perfect. It's a little big on me up top, but other than that I'm so happy with my purchase. The skirt is so spinny!

This is my luxuriously seductive piano pose.

Also, I won the Best Dressed superlative for the Redcoat band. I was pretty excited! My band banquet dream came true. I really didn't even know enough people knew me to vote for me, but the trumpet section made it happen! The boy Best Dressed superlative is in the trumpet section too. We must just be the most stylish section. Ha

Also hooray for classes being over. All I have is finals and then I'm home free!
Happy Tuesday!

What a sweet dress! The print reminds me of Missoni and I love the colours. It looks so lovely with the red tights. Your style is adorable! Very jealous of your ability to pull off a bow without looking like a 2 year old.
