I'm So Business-y

When I walked into class wearing this some guy was like "damn girl, you're looking fancy" or something to that extent. It was a week ago so I cannot give you an exact quote. Apparently I didn't look like I rolled out of bed and, without a brush, placed my hair atop of my head while wearing leggings as pants.
But I did look kind of business-y with the blazer I suppose. Oh well!

skirt, tights, earrings: forever 21
boots: bongo; kmart
top: thrifted

I'm liking my newly thrifted top. It looks more light purple in real life than in these pictures.

^Awkward arms. Awkward face lighting. This is me.^

I'm so glad it's finally the weekend. I have things to do, but I think I'll also have time to be leisurely and that's always good in my book. Plus the new season of An Idiot Abroad starts tomorrow. I'm pumped.

Happy Friday everyone!

I love this outfit! Purple is one of my favorite colors but I don't have hardly any purple clothing (shame on me!) Hahaha, that's too funny about what that guy said.

This is a wonderful look on you! You do business classy very well. And I love how bright and cool your red hair looks with different colored clothes. And yeah, I get weird comments from kids on campus all the time. Sorry, no sweats for me!

haha that's funny. i think anytime you forgo wearing sweats or a northface jacket and a uggs to class you will be noticed.

i used to haaate dressing up businessy-but now i kinda like finding new ways to make it fun. i even applied at a busy law office- sort of because i need the money and sort of because i wanted to dress business-y!! haha

you totally pull it off though! the pops of color and the polka dot tights makes this office look fun:) plus redheads look so good in purpley-blue. good work!

Hahaaaa, that quote! I just remembered sitting in lecture halls and seeing girls roll in wearing pajama pants and slippers and not being able to believe my eyes. Anyway, this blouse and skirt were made for each other! They look so cute together!
