Red & Teal

Happy Monday evening everyone! I am enjoying my first week of summer break. I actually did things today and wasn't too terribly lazy. We saw Dark Shadows and I visited my old high school for a jazz band concert. There were so many people there from back in the day. It was nice catching up a bit. I can't believe I graduated high school four years ago.

skirt, top: thrifted
cardigan: delia*s
shoes: xhileration - target
hair bows: forever 21
earrings: ?

I decided to try the non-christmasy red and green thing today. Although my cardigan is really teal so maybe I  cheated. Oh well! It was still an interesting color combination.

I'm so happy it's time for relaxing. I've already finished one book (Tina Fey's Bossypants) and I plan on reading many more! It's nice to have time to read books I actually want to read for once. I'm open to suggestions for what else to put on my list.

Oh my, you look so cute! You have tied all these colours together so well! I love the greeny cardigan with the red mini skirt and speckled blouse. I felt like Dark Shadows looked mega hokey, was it any good?

Congratulations on your recent graduation. I've been at university for 4.5 years so I can really appreciate how much work you would have done to graduate and I respect you very much for that. Your graduation outfit was so cool. In relation to this post- I never knew red and green could look so good together. I adore your hair style. I totally wish I could do that with my hair. It's gorgeous and classy.

Isn't it weird to have free time to read? I've been going crazy and reading everything I can get my paws on.

I'm obsessed with this color combo, and I am rebelling against the idea that it's only for Christmas! Lots of other things are red and green, like flags. Red and green are just too perfect together not to be worn at other times of the year. And your outfit is a great example--so pretty!
