Plaid Skirt, Harp Pin, & a Leather Jacket

Happy 12 day everyone!

This plaid uniform skirt was a pretty fantastic thrift find. Especially since it fit perfectly. So I guess I'm the size of an average 6th - 8th grader? I actually probably shouldn't look that up because it might make me sad if I'm the size of an average elementary school kid. I definitely remember kids being proud about their over-5-foot stature in 5th grade though, so there's that. Anyway, Matt called this skirt my kilt. It's not a kilt.

skirt, blouse: thrifted | jacket: ross dress for less | shoes: c/o sway chic | harp pin: from Grandma

This is me frolicking over to the front of the apartment with apparent glee. Jeanie enjoyed this picture she took so I'll post it.

Sorry about the button-down shirt pulling going on. I'm just making sure that you know that I know my boobs don't want to be contained in this shirt. If I keep my arms down at my sides then it's fine!

I also realize I'm sporting bare legs in December. It had been really warm the past few days so I figured I'd go without. It was kind of chilly once the sun went down, but I survived. I guess I could excuse it as acclimating myself to being cold so I don't feel so frozen in Illinois this Christmas. That's exactly what I was doing...

Happy Wednesday!

That skirt is adorable! I really like it a whole lot; I don't think that it looks like a kilt or a school uniform.

Enjoy the warmer weather!

Seriously, who are button down shirts made for ? They pull on everyone I swear. And I love this school girl skirt - it's awesome! I always wanted a school uniform myself. And the leather jacket with it is just so much fun

Ack! I also love this one! I literally just went thrifting looking for a skirt like this, to do a look like this but so far they've all been too short on me. ;_;

absolutely love this plaid skirt on you & the sorta rocker looks w/ that jacket! & you know what's funny, in your posed pictures you never looked short at all to me, I knew you were petite since you'd said before and your blog title of course, but didnt know only 5ft til the Eshakti post and it's really funny that you do look like a tiny thing in the frolicking picture, super cutE!
