An Olive Green Sweater, Navy Pencil Skirt, & a Cat Print Blouse

Happy Monday! This is an outfit I wore on Friday for a thrilling day of drug store and grocery shopping with Jeanie. A good time was had by all. I actually like this outfit more after seeing the pictures. The colors all pair so nicely together. It makes me happy! Plus there are cats on my shirt, so that's almost always a good thing, right?

olive green sweater: mossimo - target | cat print top: forever 21 | wool pencil skirt: pendleton petite - thrifted | tights: kmart | boots: city classified - traffic | belt, earrings: thrifted

There's an extreme smile face in this next picture. I was actually laughing because I was attempting goofy poses and hurt my abs. Jeanie laughed, I laughed, and it was a magical time for 5 seconds!

This is my school pictures pose.

This is my disgruntled-that-someone-is-coming-out-of-the-apartment-building face. But at least there's wind in my hair!

I'm glad I finally pulled this wool pencil skirt out of the closet this winter. I wore my thrifted pencil skirts all the time a year or two ago but have been neglecting them lately. This outfit made me remember why I love them so much. Plus the wool ones are nice and warm.
I get excited when I figure out new color combinations from the stuff in my closet, so this outfit makes me pretty happy. I just feel like this maroon cat top and olive green sweater are meant to be together. It's red and green without being Christmas-y!

Anyway, that's enough about that.
I hope you have a happy Monday!

Haha, I adore the school pictures pose! If only real school pictures could be as cute as these. I adore the colors in this outfit--so many pretty muted shades of color, and the fact that you managed to put red and green next to each other without looking like a christmas tree (just as you said!) is kind of amazing. :)

I hope you have a lovely start to your weeeek! <3
