Braid-y Bunch Outfit

Something about the colors in this outfit shows off my ultimate pallor, but that's okay! I wore this to a graduation party last weekend. Dresses are the simplest way to look like you tried without having to put forth much effort. I've just been in a dress mood lately too, I guess! This one was a bargain during one of Modcloth's sales. I think I paid something around $16 for it. This is the first time I got to show off the cutout back detail!

Jeanie told me I looked like I was channeling The Brady Bunch. She also told me that's what I should title this blog post because I had braids in my hair. And it was so.

foliage tour dress: modcloth | shoes: xhileration - target | sunglasses: forever 21 | square hoop earrings: thrifted | triangle stud earrings: forever 21

Mom did my hair here and I love it. I requested something with braids and that's exactly what I got. I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing my hair up more and more often as the summer goes on since my hair has gotten so long. It's already getting stupid hot outside too.

Happy Friday everyone!

Gorgeous outfit, that dress is stunning on you!

Love your hair like that, wish my mum was that good at hair....I may need to borrow your mum so she can braid my hair!

Yay for moms being able to put our hair into pretty braids! My mom totally does the same thing, ehehe. I just love what she did with your hair here, Jamie. It's so lovely. This whole outfit looks autumnal, which I love--I miss not seeing pretty, muted fall colors all throughout winter and spring. So this was a nice change. :) The pattern and cutout of that dress are both so perfect!

This dress really, truly is perfect. I am in love with the pattern and colour, definitely channelling the 70's but it looks so wonderful on your complexion!! I have a weakness for dresses with cut outs

Love the dress, and the title! :) I've been thinking about getting full bangs but I'm kind of scared- how do you get yours to look so perfect and straight??

That dress is darling! Backless/semi backless dresses are my favorite.

Oh, and those gold earrings are fabulous too!

Oh my goodness, that dress is fantastic! I love the colours and the chevron pattern is so striking! It looks fantastic matched with those sunglasses, so so pretty! Also the hairstyle is wonderful, now if only my hair would hurry up and grow!

This dress is gorgeous! I love how well it compliments your hair colour and complexion. I also wish I knew how to braid my hair like your mom did yours. It's such a neat style!
