Little Mermaid Shirt, Houndstooth Mini Skirt, Teal Cardigan, & Bow Print Tights

Happy Thursday everyone! Here's an outfit I wore featuring not one, but two Little Mermaid items. Jeanie bought me this Little Mermaid shirt for Christmas and I love it. I figured it was only appropriate to pair it with a new Little Mermaid hair bow made by my cousin! I also mixed my houndstooth mini skirt and bow print tights for some fun pattern mixing. I always enjoy wearing those two pieces together. This skirt hardly looks like houndstooth from far away though. Oh well! I assure you it is.

skirt: thrifted | top: delia's - gift | cardigan: delia's | tights: forever 21 | shoes: delia's - gift | bow: handmade

These bow print tights are one of my favorite pairs. I'm going to be so sad when they get a hole so big I can't wear them anymore! If I find a backup pair I'll definitely buy them!

Sorry I've been slacking in blog land lately. I started a full time internship this week and I'm doing that - including commute - for about 12 hours per day. It's hard to find time to do anything else other than work and sleep. Hopefully I'll fall into a more balanced schedule at some point, but until then I'm sorry for being a slacker.

Have a great rest of your week!

Your bow tights really look super cute with that skirt ^^ I also often have notice that small prints don't show up very well in my photos. It's a shame really because you lose a great detail that way. Good luck with your internship Jamie! Hope the commute isn't too bad. xo

This outfit is fantastic! Little Mermaid is definitely one of the best Disney movies - my sister and I had matching shirts the last time we went to Disney.

Your bow is cute too- your cousin has some talent!

I'm about to start my internship next week too - life is about to get busy.

I saw a shirt like that at Target! They have a Beauty and the Beast T-shirt that I MIGHT have to get because... I love Beauty and the Beast. A lot.
This outfit is so cute! I love the bow tights (I always manage to rip that type of tights really fast, ugh) and the houndstooth skirt! And, of course, the Little Mermaid accessories.

That bow is adorable! Does your cousin have an etsy shop to sell them? The cardigan is the perfect color to evoke the ocean and Ariel's tail.

So cute! I love those tights, what a great pattern. Would you like to follow each other? I just followed with Google Friend Connect! I can't wait to see the rest of your posts!

Gosh, what a schedule! I hope you hold up okay, and I'm sure we'll all forgive you for sporadic posting.

That said, YAY LITTLE MERMAID! It works so well with your hair, too ;)

I love your t-shirt! Disney stuff is always fun. :) I also love all the patterns and colors. I know what you mean about back-up tights. I usually wait until I get a huge run or hole though to actually buy another pair. I would keep checking Forever 21's website and also maybe ASOS for another pair!

I really want a little mermaid top! wow! I so need to find myself one. It would represent me so well. I adore the skirt and hair bow too.

This is cute, cute, cute! I love the tights, the skirt was a great score, and tees with skirts are a fun combo. Love it!

So very cute, Jamie! I love the bow tights and I know how it is when your fave pair gets ruined :( I'm hoping these last you forever! <3

I love that you've got a TLM theme going on here--that hairbow, what! You've got all the cute hairbows. ALL OF THEM!

I ripped a cute pair of giant polka dot ones that I haven't been able to replace yet--the polka dots are big, not those tiny ones, so they're seemingly imopssible to find in stores!
