Striped Dress, Pink Tights, & a Leopard Print Infinity Scarf in the Snow

I figured with all the ridiculously cold weather all over the U.S. these snowy pictures from my Illinois trip were extra appropriate. I look so cold in these pictures because we were hopping around in the snow and the wind was freezing. It was too bright to get great pictures, but I wanted to take some in the snow after a trip to the thrift store. I didn't realize how deep it was and I was out there in ankle boots. Luckily the warm car was waiting when picture time was done.

dress: forever 21 | jacket: ross dress for less | tights: kmart | scarf: kohl's | boots: boohoo

I figured you'd forgive me for the lesser-quality pictures.

Also it's really hard to wear a short flippy dress when it's windy! Every time I wear this dress I feel like my butt is showing, so I guess it wasn't just the wind. It sure is a comfortable dress though.

Have a nice middle of your week!

Oh my goooodness! SNOW! It's so rare for us southeners to see snow isn't it? I adore these photos do much! And your stripes are fantastic. It's not warm down here right now--20 degrees this morning, ack!!

Gah, so much snow! Haha I struggle with dresses like this while I'm Illinois too, but it's definitely worth it. This dress is adorable, and I love it with the pink tights!

Stripe dresses are such classics and this looks amazing on you. I adore the way the pink tights look against both the dress and the snow. Hope you’re surviving the freezing weather!

Yay for print mixing. And red hair. And ankle booties. It's been frigidly cold here and I wish we had that much snow to show for it! It's just so pretty. :)

And I know what you mean about feeling like your butt is showing. So many of my dresses just don't make the cut without thick tights/leggings anymore. A sign that I'm becoming old and modest. Haha.

I am a little jealous that you can take pictures in the snow ;) here in Germany is so warm this winter, its weird, but I guess its because all the cold is in the US. ANyway, your outfit is really cute and so is your blog :)

Your Forever 21 dress looks fabulous. I love the tailoring and the way the stripes help accentuate the way the dress flares out. Your pretty your rose pink tights complement your dress beautifully and were a nice colour choice for your outfit photos in the snow.

I am totally jealous of that perfect jacket and that over the ankle boot snow. I would love to see some snow in Georgia this year! Would you? :)

If only we could have snow without the freezing temperatures!

It always looks so beautiful -- but having frost nip is not fun!

Oooooh, wind is so evil, if you're not wearing a pencil skirt you can pretty much count on flashing the entire town. I totally feel you on the ankle booys and snow, if there's more than an inch of snow they're impractial but I rhink ankle boots are cuter than tall boots. Your pair is adoreable and that striped dress is so playful with the bright tights!
