Outfit + Video: Asymmetrical Galaxy Print Skirt, Polka Dot Crop Top, & Black Wedges

Happy Friday everyone! I won't lie. These pictures may have the best lighting of any outfit pictures I've ever taken and that makes me very happy. Dealing with the mosquitoes and heat was worth it. So I may need to trek over there in the future. I think the golden hour lighting really compliments my sheer galaxy print skirt.

I know this skirt is "so last year" but I still like it. The print is very cool! I like trying different pattern combinations with it. Last year I paired my leopard print crop top with it but this time I went with polka dots. There's a dotty thing going on in the skirt's pattern so somehow it works. Polka dots kind of go with everything though!

I made another outfit video to go along with this outfit since I was really feeling this look. Plus, why not? Check it out and subscribe if you feel so inclined.

I have some pretty exciting plans for tonight. I got the opportunity to go to a Def Leppard and Kiss concert tonight due to extra tickets. Hooray! I'm always up for a concert! I'll let you know how it goes. In other news, I'm attempting to clean out my room at home and have realized I absolutely don't have room for all of my stuff or clothes. The problem is I'm an adult trying to cram all my belongings in one room. Also I have too much stuff but getting rid of half of everything wouldn't even solve my problem. It's sad. First world problems you guys. My life is basically one big first world problem right now.

But anyway, I hope you guys have a good weekend!

You know I am exactly the same with having too much stuff and no space. I've had to move back home for the summer and I'm currently living out of two trunks and sleeping in the livingroom, urgh. I'm just glad it's only until September. Polka dots and galaxy print tho, who would have thought they look so damn good together?

Aw, loving the mixed prints! Especially because you probably combined probably my two favorite prints. :)

Also, I know the whole lotta stuff and too little room all too well. Moving just sucks in general, but especially when going from a bigger to a smaller space.

You have a keen eye for pattern mixing! I love the combinations you come up with :D I agree, polka dots, it's practically a basic colour, being black and white ;) I find it just a little more exciting than a standard black or white top.

I love the outfit videos, I'm tempted to try some myself :) Maybe next time I eventually go out to take some outfit photos!

I had a big clean out a while ago but I basically moved things from one place to the "to get rid of place" - so I haven't made space at all. I still need to go through some bits which is on the cards for a weeks time.

What a cute skirt, I don't care if its so last year…… but personally I think galaxy prints are always in. I share a closet with my boyfriend and the closet itself is already not huge so Im always having that problem. I may or may not have started to intrude taking over his half, luckily he hasn't noticed ;)

These photos really ARE gorgeous, Jamie! I'm so happy that you're happy with them. Happy all around. That skirt is quite the magical, twirly, galactical piece, isn't it? <3
