Las Vegas Outfit: Red Skater Skirt, Polka Dot Bustier Top, & White Sandals

Happy Monday everyone! This is the last set of pictures from Las Vegas I'll be showing you! I didn't get pictures of every outfit I wore, but I have some of this one since just Matt and I were walking up and down the strip and he isn't annoyed when we stop to take pictures. We found a perfect spot on a walking bridge to get some pictures before heading back toward The Flamingo. You may notice my delightful beer accessory in these pictures too. We were having fun at MGM playing a Batman and Joker slot machine before stopping at an outdoor sidewalk bar and picking up a couple IPAs. I can't explain how cool and weird it was to legally walk down the sidewalk with a beer in my hand.

Las Vegas Outfit with a Polka Dot Top, Red Skater Skirt, and White Cardigan

Matt noticed a couple women giving me the stink eye while wearing this outfit. I made sure to be conscious of my butt being covered in this flippy little skirt, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't because my butt was out. I told him sometimes people just stink eye me and to ignore it. It kind of sucks when you get that look from women though - especially when you feel really good in an outfit. I mean, this can't have been the most provocative outfit they'd seen all day. We were in Las Vegas. Who knows what they were thinking though!

Anyway, do you have any fun plans for this week? I'm going to be planning/making a costume/costumes for Dragon Con next week. It's kind of last minute but the whole going to Dragon Con plan was made relatively last minute. You can help me by giving me ideas of what I should wear. I'll be scoping out the feel of everything so next year maybe I can enter one of the costume contests. This year will be just for fun. I'm excited!

Have a great Monday!

Ah man, I'm sorry to hear about the stink eye looks! I am no stranger to those either and it's unfortunate that people would rather give you a scornful gaze than a compliment for looking the CUTEST. Seriously though you are lookin a doll miss Jamieee :D

Ahh the stink eye. People stink eye me all the time... so stupid. I don't even bother anymore. If I'm happy, it's not my fault if they aren't. Plus, I don't get, this outfit totally rocks! I love the bustier and the skirt combo!

Ah people are the worst, I try to ignore them but it's hard sometimes. SUPER cute outfit, the red looks great with that top. I didn't know you can carry open liquor down the street like that there, so cool!

They were probably jealous of how cute you look! I love this outfit- so stylish but looks comfy for walking around. It is so weird to be in places where you can walk around with a beer :)

I bet they were thinking "how dare she look that adorable when the rest of us don't even come close!" I get a lot of stares because of my hair now that I'm back in the U.S. (in Finland, it's a lot more common to have pink hair) and I try to imagine that they're just admiring the shade but can't get rid of their resting bitch face! Anyway, I think this look is amazing! It's great that Matt is such a good sport about photos (as he should be!) and I think you guys both look great :)

this outfit is AMAZING. I love how you're sort of wearing a crop top and how light weight and summery this look is. Also jealous of your Vegas adventures. You are lovely!

As for the lady, there's a weird dynamic between women everywhere. So many ladies still feel the need to shame others for being different from them -- especially when it comes to style. She was probably not a lady who dresses nicely and wanted to make you feel badly for doing so. I see so much shame for girls in short shorts, crop tops, and other things like this and it makes no sense. I can't wait for when women stop shaming and start to embrace each other! Basically, do you. You look beautiful.

Your smile is so contagious! Love outfit too! Polkadot pieces are so much fun and I adore the little golden bow in your hair! :)

Haha just try living in Australia, home of the cargo shorts and thongs! It's human nature to single out people in packs, and I can tell from the background in your photos that you're the most differently dressed in a sea of boring neutrals around you.

You get that sometimes, but don't let it bring you down--if you feel confident in your outfit, that's all that matters :) (And you look pretty damn adorable here!)

Bah, people give the stink eye for the stupidest reasons. I've gotten so many bitchy looks by women & men, sometimes I'm not even dressed so fancy at all, people tend to suck! :D
Love your outfit though, you look so happy here and red is sooo your color!

Have fun at Dragon Con! I've always wanted to go, it's supposed to be huge.

STINK EYE?! Are you serious? Well... maybe because how are you in Vegas and you don't look like a sweat ball, that's what I want to know?!

Adorable as always!
