Outfit: Colorful Sea Print Skirt, Pink Sleeveless Turtleneck, & Yellow Wedges

Happy Monday everyone! Here's a colorful outfit I wore a couple weeks ago. I wanted to style my new sleeveless turtleneck from Boohoo and when I glanced over at this fun skirt I knew I'd found a perfect pairing. Mom made this skirt for me a couple years ago and it doesn't get worn nearly enough. I guess there are only so many ways to wear a crazy print like this. I enjoyed the lack of neutral colors in this outfit though. It turned out extremely summery!

You should've seen me trying to take these pictures. It was partly cloudy and I kept trying to time the shots with the cloud cover but almost every time I went to press the remote the clouds moved. So of course my color balance changed every time the clouds parted and awful harsh direct sun lighting is never good. Luckily I got a few decent shots anyway! It was pretty sweltering and humid out there though!

Did you guys have a good weekend? I just traveled back home from Las Vegas. I'll be sharing pictures here soon! I'm always happy to have something new and exciting to post about. Stay tuned for that! Have a happy beginning of your week!

I think pink and yellow and orange is just about one of my favorite colour combinations. I always used to think that hot pink was a terrible decision for most redheads but you've gone and proven me wrong (gee, thanks! :P). You look fantastic!

P.S. You're more patient than I, I have to save my outfit shots to precisely 5pm to get the best combination of low-light and not-so-low-that-you-can't-see-me-light.

So many bright colors!! I LOVE IT!!! You look so adorable in this look Jamie!!! And I know just what you mean about trying to time your photos with the clouds, I do that ALL the time and always get soooo frustrated when the clouds move right when I take the picture. bleh. Annnnyyway, glad to hear you had a nice time in Las Vegas!! Can't wait to see the photos and hear your exciting stories!

It's a lovely skirt! But I agree, items like this, I tend to wear one or two ways and keep it like that. Simpler patterns are easier to work with :)

One of my favourite outfits that I've ever seen on this site - lovely colour combination! The skirt is utterly gorgeous too!

That skirt is delicious! I love how you used such a happy, vibrant color scheme head to toe. The skirt is delightfully 70s, but the top updates it - a perfect pairing :)

That's amazing that your mum made that skirt! Such a fun outfit!
I remember the days of trying to take outfit photos and setting the lighting on the camera, running to my spot and taking the photos then the sun comes out and it's so overexposed haha!
Have a great week!

Eeee, this combo is amazing! Super jealous of that skirt, it reminds me of a 60s/70s psychedelic sorta print.

What a fun outfit! Love that your mom made the skirt, too. That's so cute. I'm sure that gives it more sentimental value. :)
