Outfit: Striped Fit and Flare Dress, Gold Sparkly Loafers, & a Superhero Print Hair Bow

Happy Wednesday everyone! This dress is a recent Modcloth sale purchase. I was buying my star print bikini and noticed this dress was also super cheap. So naturally it went in the cart and now it's mine. I figured it'd be a good piece to remix throughout the year. I'll be able to layer tops underneath it and style a ton of different colored tights and cardigans with it too. For its first day out there was no layering due to the muggy horrible weather, so I just accessorized with my wonderfully sparkly gold loafers and a superhero print hair bow.

Are you guys having a good week so far? Unfortunately I don't have much to report other than that I'm mentally preparing for Dragon Con. I'm job hunting and finding nothing I'm qualified for so to not feel so bad about myself I've just been getting pumped about this weekend. That's what normal people do right? Yeah.

Anyway, have a great middle of your week!

I adoooore those flats! I think the world doesn't have enough gold shoes! Do you also have a pair of ruby slippers like that to match with your hair? Might be an idea.. :P

Ah, such a cute look on you...and I love how the little hair bow really stands out and ties everything together. Fit and flare dresses are great for us short gals, right? This one is perfect on you! Have a loverly week Jamie!

I like the dress! The side panels give it a chic shape, and I agree that it'll be very versatile through autumn and winter. The hair bow is adorable - I hope it makes an appearance at Dragon Con :)

I can relate to you on the job hunt front, and I think that getting excited for the weekend is a perfectly good coping mechanism! Hang in there.

What an awesome sale find! I love that it is striped, and I'm a sucker for dresses with a gathered waist.

Oh my goodness, this dress. I'm in love. It fits you like a glove, and I love it with that superhero bow! Such a perfect touch. And I can't wait to hear all about Dragon Con! I was going to go to Comikaze here (which is similar), but ended up not being able to afford it :( So obviously that means I'll be living vicariously through you!

This dress is a really nice basic piece. Great for the colder months!

My week is slow, very slow. Work and work. I always plan for the weekend as soon as Wednesday comes around haha.

That dress is so cute, I'm always looking for pieces of clothing I can re-mix throughout the year. I just like to make the most out of an item, if I can only wear it once I don't see much point in buying it :) Very cute though, I love the way you've styled it here!
