Outfit: Heart Print Sweater, Black A-line Skirt, and Silver Oxford Shoes

Happy Monday everyone! Since it's already the week of Valentine's Day I thought I'd start out the week with a festive look. This heart sweater was another purchase from the kids' section at Target. I bought it a couple years back but hardly wear it because, naturally, it's a little snug in the shoulders. That's what I get for buying a sweater meant for 10-to-12-year-old girls. The knit fabric makes it work though. It stretches for the boob area and is actually nice and warm despite my shoulders pulling at the seams. Luckily you can't really tell there's any fit issue. Another win for the Target kids' section!

I'm glad I found this sweater again though. It was packed away with other wintry clothes from when I moved out of my apartment. It's so perfect for this time of year. This time I went along with the black and pink theme with a  black skirt with sheer detailing at the hem. The herringbone fishnets added some extra pattern and my silver oxfords are always a good neutral choice. I'm thinking some other colors might look good with this sweater too though! What would you style it with?

Are you wearing any Valentine's Day inspired outfits this week? I'll probably be wearing plenty of red and pink. I haven't decided on my actual Valentine's Day ensemble though. I'm sure you'll see what I decide in due time!

Did you have a good weekend? Mine was busy and good but unfortunately I came down with a mild cold. I'll be nursing my sore runny nose today, I'm sure. Other than that things are trucking on. I'm looking forward to going out to a tasty dinner with my boyfriend this evening. It's the little things right now.

I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!

So cute, Jamie! I've been opting for a lot of pink for the past few Valentine's Days, but I love the addition of black here. <3

Congratulations on styling such a lovely Valentine's Day themed outfit! I love heart prints, and in fact, was just this morning doing Google searches, trying in vain to find some new pairs of high waisted heart print nylon briefs. I love the pink on black heart print of your jumper, the sheer panel and soft comfy look of your Forever 21 skirt, and your herringbone patterned tights. It was a wintery weekend where I live, but I managed to make it to the supermarket and stock up with food. Take care and get rid of that cold and enjoy those little things. I got to enjoy seeing the fashions on the Grammys Red Carpet.

You look adorable and quite appropriate for Valentine's Day! I can't believe you can shop in the kiddo section of Target... the only thing I can get away buying there is socks. Ha! You're a doll!

Such a lovely outfit. Your silver oxfords are so cute! I'm not wearing any Valentine's inspired outfits because I simply forgot we're so close to that date! I still need to think of what I'm going to give my boyfriend this year. Oopsie! xo
