I've been eyeing high-waisted swimsuits for months now and still haven't gotten ahold of one. I was pretty excited when Forever 21 showed two on their website. As usual, they were super cheap. The polka dotted one sold out, but this one is still on their website. I want it, but I'm too scared to buy it without trying it on. Plus I'm broke. And I don't really go to the pool that much.

Retromodern Beach Swimwear Set, $23.60

This is what I would wear to the pool if I had tons of money to spend. I'm just sick of wearing the same swimsuit type as everyone else. I much prefer the retro feel of this swimsuit.

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day!

These pictures aren't from today, but my outfit certainly has a patriotic vibe so I found it appropriate to post them today! You may have seen my outfit on Chictopia a week or so ago, but here's some more pictures from that day.

top: Forever 21
skirt: thrifted
sunglasses: Forever 21
necklace: Forever 21

I had my glasses on that day because my eye was bugging me. They were pretty appropriate for my outfit though. Jeanie liked that they matched my lipstick exactly.

Check out this necklace! It's from the Great Grandma Collection (A collection of jewelry we got to pick out from our late great grandma's old stuff. A lot of it is pretty cool, such as this piece.) Jeanie originally picked this anchor necklace out, but she's letting me wear it. I love nautical stuff.

necklace: Great Grandma Collection

I hope everyone has a great day off, if you have one. Thank you for checking out my blog! And thank you for the nice comments on my last two posts!

Sticker Faces

I thought I'd share a few pictures from our Easter picture adventures. We took the stickers from coloring eggs and wore them on our faces. We're that cool.

As you can see, they were pretty festive stickers.

I figured these pictures were still appropriate since it's still spring. Sadly, summer weather is already here in Georgia.

Perhaps you think we're both a little strange at this point in this post. Oh well! It was my idea to do sticker face pictures so we can't blame Jeanie. I just thought it'd be fun to spice up some of the Easter pictures this year.

[P.S.: I changed the name of this blog to Petite Panoply at the last minute. Sorry if you bookmarked it at the other address!]

Blackberry Peach Popsicle

Hello! I'm Jamie.

I had been meaning to start a blog for about a year, but just now got around to making one. I read so many blogs and enjoy fashion-y stuff so I might as well join in, right? This blog will be mix of outfit posts, inspiration, pretty things, and general awesomeness.  A panoply, if you will.

shoes: Xhileration. Target
hat: H&M

popsicle: King of Pops

I'll jump right in with an outfit post from exactly a week ago. If you follow me on Chictopia you might have already seen this look. I wore it to the farmer's market last Saturday. It was a pretty fun time. Especially since we got King of Pops gourmet popsicles. Mine was Blackberry Peach and my sister got Banana Split.

dress: Forever 21
shoes: Target (I think)

Speaking of my sister, this is her outfit from the farmer's market day. Jeanie is pretty cool and I'm sure she'll be helping me with my blog. I need a hobby, so why not maintain a blog?! This is all getting up and running still, so there'll be a few changes such as the header [Which I hate the more I look at it.] But thank you for stopping by!
