A Composer Scarf, Houndstooth Mini Skirt, & Polka Dot Tights

Hello! I wore this outfit last week on a day that primarily consisted of an outing to Chipotle with Jeanie. I decided it was time I wore this thrifted short sleeved sweater before it gets too hot to wear it. I put on this whole outfit minus the scarf and was just looking in the mirror wondering what was missing. Obviously it needed my music composer scarf. I really think it was the perfect finishing touch.

short sleeved sweater: gap - thrifted | houndstooth mini skirt: thrifted | tights: kmart | mary jane heels: croft & barrow - kohl's ?| composer scarf: thrifted | faux leather jacket: ashley by twenty six international - ross dress for less | soiree earrings: stella & dot
I love when I realize so much of an outfit is thrifted. I rarely realize it until I put together an outfit post.
You can't see the houndstooth pattern on this skirt from a distance. The skirt works as a neutral piece and because of this I tend to mix other patterns with it. You can't tell I'm print mixing until you get closer. I'm like a wizard! Or a print ghost?

Woo happy Friday! The weekend is finally here! I always have ten billion things to do for class over the weekend, but I intend on relaxing too. Which means I'll be proudly procrastinating all weekend. Go me.

Have a great weekend!

I have a short sleeve sweater similar to yours but in a mint colour which I was wondering how to style so thank you for the inspiration.

This skirt is one of my favourites of yours. Every time you style it I think it is so beautiful.

This is such a cute look! I really love the scarf--how fun! I also love when I realize an outfit is nearly all thrifted too. I wore one on accident yesterday and I just realized I'm wearing another one today! LOL

I really love that skirt of yours because of the little pattern illusion is creates--it's like a plain color and a pattern in one. Fun for print mixing!

Your scarf is cute cute.

This outfit is the cutest! You seriously look like you've walked off the Mad Men set :). I love those tights! I had a pair like that but they now have a HUGE run in them. So bummed! Have a great weekend ♥

What a classic outfit! I really love the ascot too. You're precious.

Also, I COMPLETELY agree about loving an all thrifted outfit. It just feels so good!

Yay for a mostly thrifted outfit! Aren't those just the best? Your scarf is seriously so boss! Also, I'm loving that belt with your skirt.
