A Jeanie Outfit: Teal Chevron Dress, Gold Skinny Belt, & Studded Black Heels

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you're having a nice day so far. It's time for another Jeanie outfit here on the blog! This is what she wore to our uncle's wedding. This teal chevron print dress is great because it can be dressed up or down. She wore some super cool studded heels and added a gold belt to make it fancier. Plus she wore one of our mom's bow pins as a hair pin - something I've been doing lately with my own pins/brooches/whatever-you-prefer-to-call-thems. It's a creative idea to get more use out of those pins you may have laying around!

sorry I'm not sure of the outfit details this time!

The fancy outfits and snowy backgrounds are over for now!

Did you guys have a good weekend? I survived taking my comprehensive exams and spent the rest of the weekend walking around Athens with Matt. We saw Muppets Most Wanted (which was awesome) and took in a free eco-film at Cine downtown. Cine is great because it's affordable and they have a full bar so you can drink beer in the movie. We also ended up walking by an Argentinean restaurant and decided to try it. They had delicious empanadas. Saturday we hung around at the botanical gardens and I took a bunch of pretty spring pictures. Last weekend was probably the most time I've been outside and seen the sun in months due to my work schedule. It felt great! Today I'm back to the daily grind though!

Have a great week!

Jeanie looks so pretty in this outfit!! I had never thought about using a brooch in my hair, what a fantastic idea!!!

I'm also glad to hear you had a great weekend and could have fun outdoors. I can't wait to see those spring pictures you took!

She looks so pretty, ah, I love weddings haha. Glad to hear you survived your exams, which is always a tough feat. I worked all weekend unfortunately, however that still sounds better than exams!

It's good to take a weekend off and start all over again fresh on the Monday :)

I love that idea of using the clips, brooches in the hair. Such a simple idea and with a bobby pin to secure, you can get a lot more use from the pins.

Good luck with the daily grind :D
