Things I Love Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone! Here are a few cute things I found on the internet this past week. Be sure to check out these shops and browse around. I keep finding so many great things. Unfortunately I can't afford everything on the internet. Oh well!

These donut earrings from IncredInedible need to be on my ears right now.

This little mustard yellow dress from Frenchie York would be perfect all year round, but particularly in that summer-fall transition.

I really enjoy this fun sparkly lightning headband from Janine Basil.

This crop top with ice pops all over it from Mod Dolly is basically the perfect summer shirt.

This Black Milk dress with Beauty and the Beast stained glass print is the coolest ever.

Outfit: Geometric Bodycon Dress, Black Sandals, & Triangle 80s Earrings

Sometimes you just need to throw on a simple outfit without layers when it's super hot outside. Making sure you have a really cool print or color keeps a simple outfit from looking boring. I picked up this scoop back bodycon dress from Forever 21 a few weeks back because the print was different than anything else I had in my wardrobe. I also don't own a lot of bodycon shaped things even though I like that silhouette when I wear it. So here's my new dress styled simply with a pair of new black sandals I got on sale at Modcloth. I threw on a pair of Mom's old 80s earrings for good measure too!

I hope you're having a good week! I'm just eagerly anticipating our trip to Las Vegas and trying to get some work done. I know after this upcoming trip I'll have to buckle down and actually get a full time job, but I'm trying to not worry about that until afterward so I can really enjoy this vacation. It's really hard for me to truly feel relaxed so I'm hoping this trip will be super fun and that I can take a break from my worries!

Have a fantastic middle of your week!

Outfit: Donut Print Bodysuit with Light Green Shorts, White Sandals, & Pink Sparkly Sunglasses

I'm so excited to show you the first way I wore my donut print bodysuit! This print is seriously the best. First, it's donuts and I love to eat donuts. Second, the pastel color scheme is extremely cute. I felt like the pastel donut fairy wearing this outfit and that was a-okay with me. Pairing this print with light green shorts definitely added to that feel.

I've organized my jewelry since moving back home so I was reacquainted with a bunch of things that were tangled up together or hidden. All of the beaded necklaces I wore so often a few years back were all of a sudden visible to me again! I decided on this clear and frosted necklace. Unfortunately it would pull my hair in the back when it was long. Now that my hair is short it doesn't give me any problems! Then I threw on my sparkly pink dollar store sunglasses. Sadly their frame cracked the day I wore this so they'll probably have to go to the cheap sunglasses graveyard soon.

Are you guys having a good start to your week? I'll be trying to get some work done before leaving for Las Vegas next week. I'm super pumped for our trip but I'm still thinking about what outfits to bring. Mom made me an awesome martini print dress so that'll be worn on Jeanie's birthday. I can't wait to show you guys what it looks like!

Anyway, I'm sorry I really only had clothes-related things to talk about today! Have a great Monday!

Weekend Roundup \\ 13

Happy Sunday everyone! Can you believe it's already time for another weekend roundup? I was pretty busy moving out of my apartment this past week so there was less time to peruse the internet - which means the link part of this roundup is sparse. Oh well! Hopefully you'll still find something interesting to read. Have a fantastic rest of your weekend!

Outfit: Polka Dot Peplum Romper, White Cardigan, & Blue Wedges

Happy happy Friday everyone! I wore this outfit to the eye doctor on Monday because I figured if I looked super cute I surely couldn't get any bad news. (No bad news this time, but my brain remains convinced there will be sometime.) Anyway, this polka dot romper is a new purchase from Boohoo. I couldn't resist the polka dots, sweetheart neckline, and peplum detail. It would be 100% perfect if I didn't have to have it taken in in the back because the top ran big. I almost never have that problem with strapless things, so it really must have run large. The color is also this sort of ambiguous faded black or navy blue. As far as I remember it was supposed to be black and white, but navy blue is cool too.

This time I paired the romper with a simple white cardigan, my blue wedges, and a tiny teapot necklace. I really want to bring this to Las Vegas with me in a couple weeks and wear it without a cardigan. I'll have to accessorize it differently though! What would you pair with it?

Today I'm out of my apartment in Athens for good which means I've officially joined the ranks of college graduates moving back home with their parents. Oh well. I'm a winner! A winner at life.

That's about the only news I have, unfortunately. I hope you all have a good weekend!

Things I Love Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone! Here are a few cute things from around internet-land on this fine day!

This 60s floral print dress from Mousevox Vintage has a wonderfully colorful print:

These olive earrings from IncredInedible are wonderful! I think I need these in my life. Now I want olives.

This 80s sailboat print dress from Everybody's Buying Vintage is something I'd put on and wear this very second. It's so perfect!

These sunglasses from Retro and Me are such a neat shape. They'd fit in nicely with my sunglasses collection!

This green matching set from Dahlia is super cute.

I hope you're having a wonderful day. I'm hoping to get some reading done and maybe do something productive. We'll see how that goes!

Outfit: Striped Bodycon Dress, Purple Cardigan, and Silver Oxford Shoes

This was a forgotten outfit, somehow. I wore this back in late May and recently realized I hadn't posted it. I actually really liked how it turned out with the mix of silver and purple. This striped bodycon dress is different than most of the silhouettes in my wardrobe so I enjoyed styling it. I used some credits to Sheinside I won from The Clothes Horse to get it. I figured if it didn't work out I wouldn't be out any money so I might as well try something new. I tried to dress down this dress by pairing it with a comfy cardigan and flat shoes, but it could definitely be worn for a night out with heels. Wearing bodycon dresses means your food baby from chicken nuggets and hot dogs is super apparent though, so keep that in mind when wearing bodycon things to graduation parties.

I really like how the stripes on this dress create the illusion of curves on my body. I'm generally hip-less so this makes me look a little more like a woman in that area. Do you wear bodycon dresses or skirts? I feel like they look good on so many different body shapes. How would you style a dress like this? I'd love more ideas on how to remix it!

Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday!

YouTube Tuesday: New Outfit Video + More!

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's time for YouTube Tuesday again! I have a couple videos of my own to show you, a new music video from The New Pornographers, and a funny video from The Fine Brothers.
Also, thank you for supporting my reentry into YouTube land!

First up is my newest outfit video featuring my galaxy print skirt. If you saw it already, great! If not, here it is!

Next is my short video highlighting Athfest 2014.

The New Pornographers (my favorite band) just came out with a new song and I've been listening to it way to many times. Here is the music video for it. I'm always excited to hear new music from them! Just awesome Canadian indie rock.

Here's a funny video for you: Elders React to Epic Rap Battles of History. I can't get enough of these reaction videos from TheFineBros.

I hope this gave you something interesting to look at on this fine Tuesday! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
