Outfit: White Sailor Dress, Silver Sandals, & Tortoiseshell Sunglasses

Happy Friday everyone! This is what I wore to Athfest a few weeks ago. Matt and I stopped on campus on the way downtown to take some pictures. This spot is usually full of students but they're mostly gone for the summer. I've had a ton of classes in the building in these pictures. It's weird that I won't be back for school next fall, but I guess I'm already a Double Dawg so I don't need to get a third UGA degree.

Anyway, I dressed for comfort in the humid heat with this white linen dress. It's super light and breezy with its empire waist. These silver sandals are one of my most comfortable pairs of shoes so they were perfect for a day of walking to and around downtown Athens. I brought along my red PepaLoves scalloped bag because it's big enough to hold my camera but isn't too cumbersome.

This dress is definitely one of my favorites even if some tool thought it was a cool idea to make a rude comment to me as he drunkenly passed by. Sorry my dress is sailor-y and I make it look good? Tools will be tools!

In other news, I actually have some plans this weekend so hopefully those go well. A lot of the time I enjoy sitting around doing things at home, but it's probably a good idea for me to get out. Do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend? Even if you don't I hope you have a good one!

I dare say that's the perfect sailor dress - cute and breezy and not fussy-looking at all! You're right not to listen to drunken tools, because you pull this off super well :)

This weekend, I'm departing for a coming-of-age camp where I'll be a counselor for a bunch of Finnish teenagers! Should be fun!

Well that dress is perfection. Sounds like a fun trip (Except for the tool...that's the fun of college for you haha)! Cute bag, too!

THIS IS SO CUTE and the rude comment factor is half the reason why I never take outfit photos in public places, haha. Ugh!

Ugh, tools will be tools and it's stinky :( I hate street harassment. On the bright side, you are a super cutie! I love sailor dresses. Nautically femme = awesome.

Ahh drunken people... such tools.
I actually had plans this weekend too! We went to an expo and then just a wander around Brussels, nothing too exciting but not sitting at home all weekend. Plus Friday was a work holiday so that's a bonus!

Aw, you're too cute! Light and breezy is always the way to go, especially down south, I'm sure.

And tortoise shell sunglasses are my absolute favorite. I had a pair from a junk drawer at my parents house for a long time. They were practically glued to my face. When I lost them last year, it was pretty much the saddest day ever. I even went as far to retrace where I'd been and called stores where I'd been shopping. No luck, though. :(

These photos are the bomb, Jamie! I absolutely adore that dress. It's the sweetest piece, and looks darling with your red purse. Sailor it UP!

Isn't it strange to see a campus that's usually teeming with students absolutely empty?
