Outfit: Skeleton Print Dress, Burgundy Leather Jacket, and Polka Dot Tights

I was so happy to be able to borrow this skeleton print dress from Jessica over at Midwest Muse. It's such a unique print! The different skeleton pieces have little labels pointing to the different anatomical parts. It's definitely not a print that would be allowed during an anatomy test. Good thing I don't have to worry about that!

I actually wore this dress twice. (You'll see the other way I styled it later.) This time I went with a burgundy leather jacket I got on clearance at Forever 21 and nearly-matching lipstick. I thought polka dot tights might be a fun, girly option to pair with the edgy skeleton print too. I actually love how this mix of prints turned out. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Sorry for slacking on the usual posting schedule this week. I was preparing for an interview all Tuesday (which is usually when I write Wednesday's post) and didn't want to spend that precious time on my blog. The job didn't end up working out, but what else is new? Alas, the job hunt goes on. And on and on and on. I don't want to mope to my blog people though. You come here for outfits and that feels like the only positive thing I can contribute right now.

Can you believe it's already Friday? I hope you all have something fun to do this weekend. Have a good one!

Love that pattern clashing! 'Tis a lovely dress :)

I get you on the slack posting schedule.. I have't posted in almost two weeks. It's killing me but I feel like I have nothing to contribute lately :(

I'm sorry to hear about your poor luck on the job hunting front.. Something will eventually turn up, it always does (you're not going to be unemployed for the rest of your life, no matter how much it feels like that!).

Sorry you're having bad luck in your job hunt - sometimes it just goes that way for what feels like forever, but like Demi says, it never actually IS forever. Just don't get disheartened - always remember a lot of getting a job is due to factors that are completely outside of your control. I think once you accept that your own abilities are a small part of it, it doesn't feel so bad...

And in the meanwhile, at least you're still looking cute! This dress looked great on Jessica and looks great on you too - you're both such stylish ladies!

Jessica is so stylish and such a style inspiration! What a fun dress! I laughed at your comment that it wouldn't be allowed during an anatomy test. Love the jacket as well!

I've been wanting this dress for a while now. I love how you styled it! I especially love it with the polka dot tights. Does it glow in the dark really well, or is it kinda meh?
