Outfit: Navy Blue Polka Dot Swing Dress with Off White Belt and Heels

Image
My style swings in a lot of different directions and one of them is girly retro goodness like this. I picked up this Lindy Bop Hetty dress from an epic clearance sale they had going on a couple months ago. I'd never ordered from them before so I was kind of holding my breath wondering if it would fit correctly. Thankfully it did! It just needed a couple inches taken off the length which is pretty par for the course considering I'm not even 5 feet tall. For its first day out I swapped out the belt that came with it for a thinner, off white one I thrifted. The belt that came with it was great quality but just a little too wide for my tiny tiny torso. My shoes have been with me for quite a few years now and are always a spring favorite. I liked that they matched my belt. Matchy matchy just felt right with this super retro dress. hetty dress : lindy bop | belt: thrifted | shoes: bongo - kmart I hope you all had a good week. Mine kind of flew by but I'm not c...

Outfit: Hot Pink Lace Dress, Floral Print Cardigan, and Nude Heels

dress: ross | cardigan: old navy | shoes: x-appeal - rack room shoes | belt: thrifted | hair clip: forever 21 Happy Monday everyone! I'm a bit backlogged with my pictures so today's post is what I wore on Easter. I figured a bright pink dress and floral cardigan were a good choice for the spring holiday. I picked up this dress for under $20 at Ross a little bit ago because I figured it'd be a great work dress. Plus I don't have a lot of pink pieces in my wardrobe which is a shame because I really like wearing pink! (Though I really like wearing pretty much any color...) Anyway, I paired my new dress with a thrifted woven belt, my surprisingly comfortable nude peep toe heels, and a floral cardigan I bought right before I started college. I like how pretty much everything matches in this look. Sometimes I want to mismatch and other times I want everything to go together. It just depends on my mood! So what do you think of my new pink dress? How would yo...

Floral Crop Top, Pink Shorts, & Black Wedges

Image
Happy Friday everyone! I'm a little behind posting outfits here since this is what I wore on Easter. It was a very casual Easter. All we did was eat delicious dinner and take some pictures in the back yard which is a-okay with me!  I picked up this floral crop top from Forever 21 a couple weeks back because I liked the colors and figured it would pair well with a ton of things. I needed more crop tops in my collection! Especially since the weather is hot right now! Because of my short torso, cropped shirts sometimes fit me like an actual shirt is supposed to. This one is properly cropped to my waist though! These pink shorts are from Boohoo. They're a super light material which will be nice in the coming months. However the material wrinkles like crazy! Trade offs, I guess. floral crop top: forever 21 | shorts: boohoo | shoes: shoe carnival | belt: vintage from Grandma | flower hair clip: forever 21 In other news I graduated with my master's degree yesterd...

Happy Easter!

Image
Happy Easter from Spokane, WA guys! After a huge upset against Stanford, we're spending the rest of the weekend here. This will be my first Easter ever spent away from home, so it's kind of weird to be missing that delicious dinner. Here are a few spring-like pictures from the past couple days though: I'm absolutely exhausted and we're taking a day trip into the mountains today. Let's hope I can nap on the bus and not be super crabby all day! Have a great Easter Sunday!

Easter Sunday

Image
I can't remember an Easter Sunday that wasn't nice and sunny. I'm sure it exists, but not in my recent memory. Jeanie and I always like to take pictures together on Easter. I forgot to plan an Easter outfit when I left school, so I just had to throw my outfit together. The lace top is a new purchase, but the denim skirt was sitting in my closet because it reeked of gasoline smell. (I ordered it and it came like that. So gross.) Luckily it didn't smell so much anymore! Jeanie actually had her floral dress in her closet, I think. So that was pretty convenient. lace top: kohls skirt: forever21.com shoes: bongo - kmart earrings, hair clip: forever 21 This week should actually be pretty calm. I'm pumped about having a bit of free time away from writing essays. I've just been sitting on the couch eating Easter candy since class ended. I'm that exciting! Happy Tuesday!

Sticker Faces

Image
I thought I'd share a few pictures from our Easter picture adventures. We took the stickers from coloring eggs and wore them on our faces. We're that cool. As you can see, they were pretty festive stickers. I figured these pictures were still appropriate since it's still spring. Sadly, summer weather is already here in Georgia. Perhaps you think we're both a little strange at this point in this post. Oh well! It was my idea to do sticker face pictures so we can't blame Jeanie. I just thought it'd be fun to spice up some of the Easter pictures this year. [P.S.: I changed the name of this blog to Petite Panoply at the last minute. Sorry if you bookmarked it at the other address!]
