Polka Dot Pants, Loafers, & a Short Sleeved Red Cardigan

Image
Hello everyone! Good thing I had this outfit saved up because I've spend the whole day sick on the couch. It only makes sense to get sick on Thanksgiving break right? Of course. My 102 fever is breaking now, so I finally have the will to look at a computer screen for a few minutes. I wore this outfit on election day and an old guy at Aldi complimented me on my hat. He was wearing basically the same hat in brown, so I complimented him right back. Good to know my style is appreciated by elderly gentlemen. polka dot pants: forever 21 | top: kmart | cardigan: ann taylor loft - thrifted | shoes: target | hat: h&m | belt: thrifted | necklace: grabbed it from Matt Cacaww! Boy Scout eagle necklace. I'm pretty sure this was one of those days where I looked weird in every picture no matter what I did. So enjoy my goofy faces. I know you will. Now I'm going to catch up on reading some of your blogs! I'm just hoping my fever doesn't come bac...

New Modcloth Dress, Keds, & a Red Cardigan

Image
Happy Wednesday! I've done a fantastic job of sleeping in way too late these past couple of days, but that's because I caught a cold and have been staying up late getting school crap done. Oh well. I hope I'm over this cold in a couple days. I've been eating soups and drinking lots of tea and staying in my pajamas. I wore this outfit to class on Monday. It's one of the dresses I got from the Modcloth super sale. I love that I get to buy all the dresses that are on sale because they're too short for the normal population. I really don't see how any person of normal height could wear this since my butt is almost out and I'm not even 5 feet tall. But it works for me, so hooray! I really want it to cool down so I can wear tights with this dress. dress: modcloth.com | cardigan: ann taylor loft - thrifted | shoes: keds | belt: thrifted | earrings, hair bow: forever 21 The ear is healing well, so I'm happy! It was super sore on Monday, but i...

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Plus it was easy to walk around in all day because I wore nice, comfy Keds. dress (worn as a skirt): Modcloth.com blouse, belt, bag: thrifted cardigan: ann taylor loft; thrifted shoes: keds sunglasses: kohls earrings: forever 21 I quite enjoyed my brightly colored nails. They're China Glaze Papaya Punch with an accent nail of Electrify from the Capitol Colours collection. I've been loving having the whole Capitol Colours collection. Especially since it's Hunger Games themed. If there...

Hot or Cold?

I'm always faced with the question of what to wear when it's nearly 90 degrees in October. It's just such a weird month here. Take this week for example. Highs near 90 on Monday and by Wednesday the high is 61. It's that crazy. shorts: forever 21 top: l iz claiborne ; thrifted cardigan:  ann taylor loft ; thrifted shoes: xhileration; target belt: ralph lauren: thrifted earrings: great grandma collection Ha. I look like I'm posing for a school picture. I just wanted to show off the cute boat print on my shirt. I enjoy my new corduroy shorts. The color is great. It's amazing how many things they match with. I'm sure I'll be wearing them all fall and winter, but perhaps soon I can add tights to them! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It really was an awesome one. Happy Tuesday!
