Happy Wednesday to you! These pictures are from a little while back and were taken right after I had my hair done so it was freshly pink and delightful. Of course now it's purple and delightful, so that's good too. This elephant print bell sleeved dress from Boohoo is one of my favorites because it's so incredibly comfortable. It isn't tight anywhere so it's great for days when I'm planning on having a food baby. Or just days when I don't want to think about what to wear. The black and white print makes it versatile and the awesomely large bell sleeves are really on trend. I've worn this dress with tons of different shoes and tights, but this time I styled it with a new pair of raspberry red heels I got on clearance at Target. (Woohoo for Target clearance!) Oh how I love this purple-y floral bell sleeved (which you can't see, but you can see the bell sleeved goodness here ) dress. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure the length shrunk somehow. No, I have not grown. I think I'm far past that point in life. I'm actually super sad about how short the dress is right now. Does it seem shorter to you or am I making it up? It can't just be that it's cinched in with a jacket either. I've been comparing these photos with the ones where I wore this dress with a jean jacket . Ugh. Happy Monday everyone! This is yet another outfit I wore in Illinois in October. I really love this floral bell sleeved dress I picked up from Forever 21, so I keep trying to think of new ways to style it. Usually that means another color of tights or new shoes to switch it up but still show the sleeve detail. I know it'll be too cold to go without a jacket or sweater soon though! I've shown this dress with a jean jacket layered over top too which gives it a 90s vibe even though it covers the sleeves. Hooray remixing! This look has a very monochromatic feel. I enjoy seeing others rock monochromatic outfits so I hope I'm doing it well too. I didn't realize just how much magenta/pink stood out in the print until I saw these pictures. The dark pink tights really bring out that shade and make the whole outfit look very pink! Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm excited to finally show you this fantastic dress I found at Forever 21 a few weeks back. It's unlike anything else I own so I was looking forward to featuring it here. This was one of those purchases that happened because I stumbled across a silhouette I'd never tried and just wanted to see how it looked. Obviously I was happily surprised at how cute this dress looked so it came home with me! I love the retro late 60s/early 70s feel it has with the bell sleeves and square neckline. (If you want to find a true vintage version of this look, I found this adorable vintage 60s dress on Etsy and a vintage 60s pattern to make a similar dress.) This dress is also super comfortable because of the loose - but not too loose - empire waistline. I tend to stay away from empire waistlines these days since I wore them in high school when those empire waist tunic tops were popular.
