Happy Wednesday everyone! I know many of you will look at this post and be like, "How is she wearing shorts in November?" Well welcome to Georgia! Actually these pictures were taken at the tail end of October, but still. I figured I'd show you the first way I styled the super cool wood watch JORD sent me. I played off the colors in the wood with my thrifted belt and tortoiseshell sunglasses. I feel like navy blue looks really great with the red tones in the cherry wood too. This is one of my go-to casual outfits. I love my vintage t-shirts and pairing them with high waisted shorts or jeans is always a good choice when I don't want to think about my outfit too much. Happy Wednesday everyone! Here's yet another super summery outfit straight from hot and humid Georgia. This striped blouse is a relatively new sale purchase from Modcloth. It's one of those pieces that I thought would look good with a ton of things. Unfortunately it only ended up pairing with most of my clothes in theory. I think part of the problem is that I own a lot of items with prints and not enough solids. That's my own fault though, not the fault of this shirt. For its debut I sucked it up and ironed my black linen shorts. Of course you can't tell I ironed them because I wore them for a couple hours before taking these pictures. Happy Wednesday everyone! Here's a relatively simple outfit I wore to class the other day. For some reason I really wanted to wear a navy blue top with my blue shorts. Double navy! I tried my sail boat top at first and something about the two shades of blue just wasn't working, so out came my striped t-shirt. This was a very comfy outfit. I think these red shoes kind of make the outfit though. Plus they're a little big around the ankle so there was no rubbing on my scratched-up ankles! These blue linen blend shorts from Forever 21 are a very trusty item in my wardrobe. As you can see, I like to pair them with button-down tops but they also get a lot of casual wear with various t-shirts. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of these since I bought them a couple years back. The only annoying thing about them is that they have to be ironed!  1. & 2. 3. & 4.  5. & 6. Hello and happy August! Seriously, how is it August? I'm already mourning the summer and my epic laziness. I bought this shirt on clearance at Target the other day for $10. I've been wanting more blouses, so this definitely was a great find. The colors are so pretty and I love a good bow collar. All the bright colors brightened up the cloudy day. I paired my fantastic high-waisted linen shorts with my new blouse.
