Look At My Face!: Olive & Gold Fall Eyes with Urban Decay Vice 2

Image
It's been a while since I did a makeup post, so I decided to put together a fall look using my new Urban Decay Vice 2 palette. There are a ton of fall-appropriate colors in that palette and I've been enjoying using all the pretty colors. There's such a great mix of neutrals and color in this palette. I'm so glad I bought it for myself for my birthday! This eye makeup is really appropriate for school or work because it's not overly dark. I even used a brown liquid liner to lighten it up even more. I'm really loving this OCC Lip Tar in Memento as a natural-looking pink shade too.  I achieved this eye look by patting Strike (a light gold) in the center of my lid and then shaping Stash (olive green) in the inner and outer corners of my eye and in the crease. I blended the olive green out with Toxic (goldish rose) and patted a little bit of Damaged (deep green) in the outer corner. Then I lined my top lid with E.L.F. liquid liner in coffee and my bottom ...

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Review + Swatches

Image
Hey guys! Today I have a little lipstick review for you. I picked up four of the new Color Sensational Vivids lipsticks from Walgreens about a month back. I kept seeing them on the various makeup blogs I follow and decided I needed some ultra bright lipstick in my life. Left to right: Shocking Coral, Pink Pop, Hot Plum, Vibrant Mandarin Shocking Coral is a really pretty warm pink, but I wouldn't say it's a true coral.  Vibrant Mandarin is more what I would call coral if you're looking for that shade. It reminds me of a retro orange-ish red. Hot Plum is not as dark as the picture would have you believe. It's a really wearable medium purple shade with a hint of pink. Pink Pop was a last minute choice because Jeanie said I needed that Barbie pink color. Guys, it's really Barbie pink. It's a light blue-based pink that I don't have anywhere else in my collection. It's hard to wear sometimes because I'm so used to wearing warmer pin...

Look At My Face!: Featuring Urban Decay's Chaos Shadow

Image
Happy Sunday! I wanted to figure out a way to wear the bright matte blue shade, Chaos, in Urban Decay's Vice Palette. (I wore this makeup with this floral shorts outfit .) The shade is a little tricky to work with because it's matte, but it's such a cool color! I used xSparkage's tutorial featuring Chaos as a guide to get this shade to look as nice as possible. I followed her instructions to pack the color onto the lid to make it vibrant. Using NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in milk definitely helped Chaos apply easier. Makeup Used : Urban Decay Vice Palette - Chaos (lid, middle to outer bottom lid), Blitz (inner corner, inner bottom lid), Laced (crease to blend everything out) Urban Decay Naked Palette - Virgin (inner corner, browbone) Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil - Zero Sephora Long-Lasting Liquid Liner - Black Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara e.l.f. Look At My Face!: Silver Smoke

Image
This is a go-to makeup look for me when I want to wear eye shadow. I don't have to think about the makeup clashing with the rest of my look because it's neutral. Plus it's really quick for days when I don't have much time to get ready. It also looks really nice with both red and pink lip colors! I mostly used Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette because it has some cooler-toned shades including a really pretty silvery color called Verve. These silver gray colors look great on anybody so I figured this was a look all of you could recreate if you wanted! Makeup Used: Eyes : Urban Decay  Naked 2 Palette - Verve (inner lid & tear duct), Pistol (outer lid & crease, lower lid), Blackout (outer crease) Maybelline Color Tattoo - Audacious Asphalt (base color) Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara Sephora  Long-Lasting 12 Hour Wear Eye Liquid Liner - Black e.l.f.
