Petite Panoply

I've gotten so much use out of this polka dotted kids' skirt. I've only had it a few months, but it seems to go with so many different tops! It also helps that it was really inexpensive. I think it was something around $7 on clearance? Good times. This time I paired it with a clearance tie-dye shirt I got from Target a while back. I've worn this shirt more often this year than the year I bought it! I've just really been liking my sleeveless tops like this lately. Sorry I look kind of weirdly tired in these pictures. This faux leather skater skirt is definitely a new favorite! I've been looking for one I like since last fall and finally came across this one at Forever 21 last week. It fits perfectly, is lined, and even has pockets so it had to come home with me. The fact that it was under $20 made it even more wonderful too. I wore this on a movie outing with Matt a week ago. I thought this tie dye top looked really cool with my leather skirt and I'm kind of in love with these new shoes too. There are a lot of new pieces in this outfit now that I look at it. You know how sometimes you go shopping and just want to throw all the new things on immediately? Happy Monday! I wore this on Friday for a pizza buffet dinner with Jeanie and then a night out with friends. I don't wear jeans super often because I have so many other clothes I enjoy wearing, but I really like these jeans. It's hard to find a cheap pair of modern high-waisted jeans! Next time I see a pair like these at Forever 21 I'm going to snatch them up because these are really not built to last. I paired the jeans with a tie-dye-ish top I got on clearance at Target and my black faux leather jacket. This jacket is proving to be a trusty item in my wardrobe. I'm sure I'll be breaking it out as soon as possible next fall. My boots here have served me well for well over a year now and they actually aren't that bad for walking around downtown all night. (I even made it through some epic white girl dancing at a bar that only plays 90s music.) My feet only hurt the next day! I think that's a success for heels. top: merona - target | jeans: forever ...
