Happy Wednesday everyone! I know many of you will look at this post and be like, "How is she wearing shorts in November?" Well welcome to Georgia! Actually these pictures were taken at the tail end of October, but still. I figured I'd show you the first way I styled the super cool wood watch JORD sent me. I played off the colors in the wood with my thrifted belt and tortoiseshell sunglasses. I feel like navy blue looks really great with the red tones in the cherry wood too. This is one of my go-to casual outfits. I love my vintage t-shirts and pairing them with high waisted shorts or jeans is always a good choice when I don't want to think about my outfit too much. The accessories kind of make the look though don't you think?  P.S. In case you didn't get a chance last week, scroll down to enter to win a gift certificate for one of these JORD watches! t-shirt: vintage from Dad | shorts: forever 21 | belt: thrifted | shoes: korks - shoe carnival | sun...

Outfit & Giveway: JORD Wood Watch, Olive Sweater, Leopard Skater Skirt, Clogs, and a Beret

Today I'm very excited to introduce you to a unique and unconventional watch brand! JORD is a Missouri company that specializes in fashionable, hand-crafted  wood watches . I know wearing a watch isn't necessary for telling the time now that we all carry around cell phones, but making a watch a focal accessory is definitely something I can get on board with. The kind people over at JORD gifted me with their two-toned Sully watch in cherry & maple. The watch I chose is a bit oversized for a girl of my stature, but I wanted it to be a bold accessory. Since the holiday season is upon us, a JORD timepiece would make an awesome present for the stylish person in your life. I like that these watches aren't the typical dainty girly watch you usually see. Their Ely watch is a little smaller for those of you looking for a more understated timepiece though. Most of them are very unisex which I think is pretty fantastic. I can share my watch with my boyfriend! Another bonus: JOR...

Pinafore & Black Lace

Image
I wore this last week before I visited Virginia. I bought this pinafore last year and now they're "in" again, so that's good. I paired it with my black lace crop top and a pair of floral wedges that I don't wear often enough. There's also a tiny bit of an "arm party" going on. Aren't I so trendy? Yeah. pinafore dress: forever 21 | black lace top: h&m | wedges: ross dress for less | floral hair clip: forever 21 | pearl bracelet & earrings: gift | watch: great grandma collection | spiked bracelet: jigsaw london Bright purple-y lipstick! Thanks for the kind comments recently. I promise I'll get caught up on your blogs soon. This week threw life out of wack, but I'm hoping to get back to normal soon. It's a weird feeling to not want to do anything at all. I picked up my library books again yesterday and went out shopping too so that's a start. Have a great weekend!
