Petite Panoply

It's been a while since I shared a work outfit with you but here's a pretty fun one featuring a flamingo print shirt. I was in the midst of preparing for our vacation in Las Vegas so the flamingos were reflective of that! This shirt from Shein isn't the best quality but the print is really cute and it looked good with my stretchy Forever 21 pencil skirt. I always feel like bodycon stuff looks so much better on me in real life than in pictures but oh well! I'm posting these anyway. Some of that may stem from the fact that I don't have a classic hourglass shape. My hips are very narrow and today I learned I have a trending body part: hip dips ! (Where there's an indentation where your hips meet your thighs .) Apparently that's something I'm supposed to reclaim and embrace. Happy Labor Day! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I wore this outfit a couple weeks back. I wanted to style this leopard print peplum skirt in a new way since I hadn't worn it in a while so this is what I came up with. It's nothing too special but I really like these spiked sandals whenever I wear them. Something about the clear straps makes them feel futuristic. In other news I had a great weekend at Dragon Con. Today's festivities go on until around 6 but I'm not sure when we're heading home. It's been a tiring but really fun weekend. I'll tell you all about it and show you the costumes I wore in another post. (Possibly Friday?) Happy Monday! Here's an outfit I put together from a few new things I got on sale at Forever 21. I ended up buying things that could be paired together so I did just that! I like these new tights even though they're kind of a weird oatmeal color that's very similar to my actual leg color. You can see their fishnet-y pattern on a couple of the close-up pictures. This leopard print peplum skirt is a new favorite too. It's a different shape than the other skirts in my closet. I forgot to post this outfit and now it's a couple weeks after I wore it, but oh well. It's appropriate for a Saturday post because it was nice and comfy. I always forget about this stretchy skirt because it's not really a silhouette I wear often. It's super comfortable though because of its epic stretchiness. I'm not really a huge fan of this outfit. This outfit is from the end of January and it never got posted. So sad. It was a weekend outfit therefore comfy. (Actually that's not usually the case for my weekend clothes.) I also had time to actually think of some other way to do my makeup. It's easier just to do what I always do when it's the morning!
