Comfy Forgotten Skirt

I forgot to post this outfit and now it's a couple weeks after I wore it, but oh well. It's appropriate for a Saturday post because it was nice and comfy. I always forget about this stretchy skirt because it's not really a silhouette I wear often. It's super comfortable though because of its epic stretchiness.


I'm not really a huge fan of this outfit. But what the hell!

I don't know how it's Saturday again. I swear the week went by faster than I've ever experienced. I really didn't do a whole lot either. So much Netflix... 

Last night I caught up with a few friends from high school. Hanging out with them is always so random and unplanned. It's weird reminiscing because it doesn't seem all that long ago. It's also weird having legal alcoholic beverages with them. We're all sitting around the table drinking wine and I'm like, boy we're classy! And old. I like being home for the summer. There won't be too much more time when people I graduated high school with will be coming back to this town around the same time so I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
