Outfit: Feather Print Navy Blue Romper in Napa

Image
Since it's been cold out there and I'm pretty over it, I figured it would be a good time to dive back to last summer and share an outfit I was too busy to share then.  These pictures were taken during our brief stay in Napa last August which was a pretty awesome couple of days. The weather was fantastic and I was able to wear this feather print romper I picked up on Amazon for the first time. It was the perfect flowy silhouette for a summer day spent at wineries and bopping around town. The only negative about it is the wrap v-neck which definitely has to be pinned shut to avoid being the flasher about town. romper: amazon | earrings, sunglasses: forever 21 | shoes: corks - shoe carnival | bag: jototes Have you had any luck with shopping for clothes on Amazon? They have everything on there. I think my favorite fashion-related Amazon buy so far is a pair of brown fringe sandals I got for like $10 that are really comfortable.  On a different note, how's yo...

Outfit: Green Corduroy Skirt, Red Scarf, and Leopard Print Flats

Image
Happy New Year! Usually I have a roundup outfit post to start the new year but with busy holiday traveling that may have to wait until later. Since our trip to Europe was by far the highlight of 2016, I figured I'd show you another outfit I wore over there. This is what I wore on our first full day of exploring Prague. The pictures we took on Charles Bridge at dawn are some of my absolute favorite from the whole trip. It was amazingly crowd-free being there that early in the morning!  At this point in the trip my faux leather jacket wasn't quite cutting it with the cool weather and this day was especially windy up at the castle! Other than that I was pretty pleased with the pieces I picked to bring with and was able to remix them in a lot of different ways so I wasn't wearing the same outfit for 2.5 weeks. This look was a favorite of mine with the green button down corduroy skirt, leopard print flats from Target, and red dog print scarf. jacket: ashley by twe...

Outfit: Blue Tights, Maroon Skirt, Leather Jacket, and Leopard Flats

Image
I wear this skirt a lot.  It's the perfect skater skirt length, a slightly heavy material so it doesn't blow up in the wind too easily, and an extremely versatile maroon color. I styled it in my last outfit post too, but I hope you don't mind!  I spent a good amount of the weekend sorting through and editing my pictures from my trip to Europe and picked out a few of this outfit I wore in Bruges. I loved the way the blue tights and maroon skirt photographed together, especially when paired with my leopard print flats from Target! I topped everything off with my faux leather jacket which is on top of a gray mock turtleneck shirt that you can barely see here. It was too cold to walk around jacket-less! My Jo Totes bag here, the Abby model in black, was purchased new for the trip and was the absolute perfect size for traveling Europe. I needed something not too big to be burdensome while wandering around but that could still fit the essentials. I fit my camera ...

Navy Polka Dot Skirt, Blue Blouse, Silver Sandals, and Polka Dot Sunglasses at the Botanical Garden

Image
Happy Friday everyone! Finally, here are some photos from our spring trip to the botanical garden in Athens, Georgia . They're the outfit-tastic pictures so I have others to share later. It was such a nice day. Matt and I wandered through the nature trail and sat by a stream for a little while. I packed an apple snack and we relaxed. We found the Oconee river deeper into the trail too. It was nice to actually see sunlight and be outdoors. I hardly see daylight working the schedule I work!  I had to wear something cute enough for pictures but also practical enough to wander through the nature trail. These sandals are really comfortable and are stable enough with their ankle strap. I went with a double blue color scheme with my blue button-down and a navy blue polka dot skirt. It's kind of a simple outfit, but I really liked it. It's definitely a spring look! top: new york & co. | skirt: forever 21 | sandals: rocket dog - shoe carnival | sunglasses: forever 21 ...

Plaid Dress under a Black Sweater with a Black Beret, Leather Jacket, & Red Camera Bag

Image
Happy Friday! Here's an outfit featuring a plaid dress from Target that I've had for quite a few years. It was under my bed in winter storage and didn't get taken out until recently. I figured I should wear it if I'm going to hold onto it. This time I layered a thrifted black sweater and my leather jacket over it. I also added a beret which prompted Jeanie to call me a Scottish biker - or something to that extent. That definitely wasn't my intent, but oh well! This is also the first time I've featured my new Epiphanie camera bag on the blog! It was a Christmas present from Mom and Dad and I love it even though it's about half my size. It's so nicely padded inside and made of really soft red leather. dress: mossimo - target | sweater: ann taylor loft - thrifted | jacket: ashley by twenty-six international - ross dress for less | tights: forever 21 | boots: hand-me-down | beret: h&m | earrings: charming charlie | bag: epiphanie - sam's club ...

Leopard Peplum Skirt, Navy Blue Blouse, & My JoTotes Bag

Image
Happy Monday! Here's an outfit I put together from a few new things I got on sale at Forever 21. I ended up buying things that could be paired together so I did just that! I like these new tights even though they're kind of a weird oatmeal color that's very similar to my actual leg color. You can see their fishnet-y pattern on a couple of the close-up pictures. This leopard print peplum skirt is a new favorite too. It's a different shape than the other skirts in my closet. I'm looking forward to pairing it with some sort of concert t-shirt and boots. top, skirt, tights, shoes: forever 21 | camera bag: jototes This is my peplum butt pose. I hope you guys are taking notes so you can replicate my top modeling. I hope you guys had a nice weekend and utilized that extra hour. I used it for school work so that was kind of lackluster. P.S. Did you see my interview on Introvert's Introduction ? Lauren interviewed me for her blogger of the mont...

A Girly Pink Pencil Skirt, Sparkly Sunglasses, Polka Dot Bustier, & Floral Shoes Outfit

Image
Today is my 23rd birthday! I wore this outfit last week but it's definitely a recent favorite and I like how the pictures turned out so it'll be my outfit post for today. Jeanie took these pictures for me after class the other day so hooray for some different scenery! Anyway, this outfit was kind of inspired by Barbie. Pink sparkly sunglasses and a pink skirt with a polka dot bustier combines for ultimate girly-ness. Pink and sparkles automatically equals Barbie in my mind. Maybe I'm 90s Barbie with my jean jacket? The specifics don't matter because this was just a fun outfit and especially appropriate to post on the blog on my birthday. jean jacket: so... - thrifted | bustier top: forever 21 | skirt: thrifted | shoes: not rated - delia's | necklace: made by my aunt | sunglasses: dollar store | gracie camera bag purse - jo totes Unfortunately I have class today even though it's Columbus Day and my birthday. Stripes and Scalloped Shorts in Virginia & Tuesday Tunes

Image
I was looking through my pictures from Virginia and noticed I had a couple full body shots in there. So here's an outfit! I wore this on the drive up there so the shorts are nice and wrinkled, but that's okay. It was comfortable for the drive and for stuffing myself at The Homeplace afterward. The Homeplace is this great family-style restaurant up in the mountains. We used to go there when I was little and it's just as delicious now as it was then. Maybe I'll share some more pictures from the trip soon. I just have to get around to editing them! shorts, top: forever 21 | sandals: shoe carnival | bag: jototes  | earrings: thrifted Sorry about my blog slacking right now. This post should've been up yesterday but that didn't happen.  Also, here's a tune for today since it's Tuesday:

Floral Dress, Jean Jacket, & My JoTotes Camera Bag

Image
Happy Wednesday! I was so busy with school work over the weekend I hardly left the apartment! So here's another outfit I had saved up from spring break a couple weeks back. I had Mom's jean jacket on because I left any jacket that would match this at school. Also, these are indeed light pink tights and not my leg color.  Matt seemed genuinely confused as to whether I was wearing tights or not this day. My leg color is really close though... floral dress, teapot necklace: forever 21 | jean jacket: borrowed from Mom | tights: target kids' section | belt: thrifted | boots: city classified - traffic | gracie camera bag in butterscotch - jototes Here's a better look at my camera bag! I love it. This was a pretty spring-y outfit with the floral dress and jean jacket. It's currently pretty cold outside for Georgia, but I'll probably be wearing stuff like this again within a week. It's just about time to bring out all my floral skirts! I feel li...
