Oh my gosh, that Les Mis video was HILARIOUS, even though if I'm being honest with myself, that is totally how I felt after I saw it.

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Plus it was easy to walk around in all day because I wore nice, comfy Keds. dress (worn as a skirt): Modcloth.com blouse, belt, bag: thrifted cardigan: ann taylor loft; thrifted shoes: keds sunglasses: kohls earrings: forever 21 I quite enjoyed my brightly colored nails. They're China Glaze Papaya Punch with an accent nail of Electrify from the Capitol Colours collection. I've been loving having the whole Capitol Colours collection. Especially since it's Hunger Games themed. If there...

Work Outfit: Light Blue Jersey Knit Dress and White Block Heels

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. That's exactly what I did with this light blue dress California-based shop Tobi sent me to style. (Someone even asked me why I was dressed so nice at the dog park! I told them I just came from work, of course.) For the debut of my newest pajama dress, I added my silvery beaded Stella and Dot necklace and a pair of white block heel sandals from Forever 21. I actually bought the shoes back in December on sale and had to wait for it to warm up to finally wear them. Happily, they're comfortable enough to walk back and forth to work, which is really all I can ask in a pair of cheap shoes.  daydreaming skater dress : c/o tobi | shoes : forever 21 | necklace: stella & dot | sunglasses: forever 21 Check out more from Tobi:  shorts  |  jewelry  |  casual dresses ...

Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give! Oh well, it looks cool. skirt, top, shoes: thrifted | tights, earrings, hair bow: forever21.com  I got to pull out my bag of long-sleeved tops and sweaters and such today. It's finally cool in the morning so the extra arm covering was welcome. Plus it was almost like Christmas getting to pull out my warm-weather-only clothes after all this time!  I always love when I real...
