Petite Panoply

As promised, there's a new Jeanie outfit post today! She paired a green t-shirt with a colorful floral skirt and her new wedge boots. She was towering over me in our pictures together! Jeanie is already a couple inches taller than me so if we're not both wearing heels there's quite a difference. nail polish: o.p.i. - my vampire is buff & china glaze - graffiti glitter I hope you're all having a nice Tuesday. I get to sleep in a little bit today because my first class got canceled. Unfortunately, I have a paper to work on this week and need to get started on that asap. Can grad school be over yet? Happy Monday! Here are a few pictures from the past month or so. I'll start with the cutest ones:  pictures of us giving George hugs while we were visiting a couple weeks back. Life lately has been a tiny bit boring, but that's okay. I spent last weekend at home with my family eating delicious homemade deep dish pizza and watching TV. This past week flew by and this weekend is gearing up to be a superbly lazy couple of days.  The most exciting news was that my Modcloth order came! Matt's car finally needed a repair that cost more than the car itself, so we had to say farewell. It was kind of sad. He took me to homecoming in that car! Pink leopard print nails! A favorite outtake: I've been playing with makeup a lot lately. I'm loving this brown smokey eye. According to pictures, all I eat lately is pizza. I wish.  I'm doing my best to catch up on all of your blogs and respond to comments this weekend. I just get overwhelmed looking at my Bloglovin' feed when it says 1000 at the top! I'm also thinking of blog posts for February and perhaps a series of guest posts. We'll see!  ...

It's Christmas day! I feel like we've already been celebrating for so long. We'll be having one more get-together dinner tonight, then I think the festivities will be officially over. George is especially ready to go home to Georgia and sleep on his favorite spot on the couch. I hope you all have a great day and spend it with the people you love most!

It was in the 70's here the past couple days, so I've had to pick light outfits that also look like I belong in the month of December. It gets difficult sometimes. A good go-to for warm December weather is to put on pair of shorts with tights and then throw a cardigan on top. I hadn't worn my green lace tights for a while, so it was time to bring them out! shorts: levi's - thrifted | cardigan, tights, flower hair clip: forever 21 | top, scarf: thrifted | shoes: xhileration - target | earrings: great grandma collection Today is George's 11th birthday and I'm sad I don't get to see him. Mom took this picture of him with his birthday crown on though. I'm pretty sure his slumber had been disturbed, but that's easy when you sleep 20 hours per day. Happy birthday George! I enjoy when bloggers post random life pictures once in a while. Occasionally I'd like to share little pictures from other parts of my life that aren't necessarily clothes-related. Halloween has always been my favorite because I love costumes (and also candy). Since I have no real Halloween plans for today other than watching my annual Halloween movies, I thought I'd update with some (most) of my old Halloween costumes.
