Random Life Scenes

I enjoy when bloggers post random life pictures once in a while. Occasionally I'd like to share little pictures from other parts of my life that aren't necessarily clothes-related. I've done posts like this before, but I'm just letting you know I intend on doing this semi-regularly! The majority of these pictures are Halloween-related, but oh well! Here are some scenes from the past month or so.

those doughnuts look so amazing! how do you like the flavored coffee? it sounds yummy! i normally am not a fan of flavored coffees, but how could anyone not purchase that!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Plus it was easy to walk around in all day because I wore nice, comfy Keds. dress (worn as a skirt): Modcloth.com blouse, belt, bag: thrifted cardigan: ann taylor loft; thrifted shoes: keds sunglasses: kohls earrings: forever 21 I quite enjoyed my brightly colored nails. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give! Oh well, it looks cool. skirt, top, shoes: thrifted | tights, earrings, hair bow: forever21.com  I got to pull out my bag of long-sleeved tops and sweaters and such today.
