Red Jeans, Sleeveless Checkerboard Shirt, Peeptoe Heels, & a Spiky Headband

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's almost appalling how old this outfit is. Like, a month. Oh well. I really needed a hair cut when these pictures were taken too. Anyway, I wore my red Levi's with my checkerboard print top and some heels I found under my bed. I thought the mix of the floral print heels and the checkerboard print would be interesting. I remember why I hardly wear these shoes now though. They're about a 1/2 size too big for me. I'm pretty sure I got them for some ridiculous clearance price at Target a few years ago. Maybe I can put one of those squishy ankle protector things in there to make them fit better because they really are a cute pair of shoes... jeans: levi's - kohl's | top: boohoo | shoes: target | headband: forever 21 My mom's birthday was yesterday. Happy birthday Mom!  Have a great middle of your week!

Black Lace Dress, Neon Blue Tights, Houndstooth Flats, & a Spiky Headband

Happy Friday everyone! Here's an outfit I wore yesterday while running errands and going to the movies to see Frozen (which was great) .  This is a new dress I got from Oasap with some credits. I figured I could style a black lace dress in a ton of different ways. The sheer lace sleeves on this dress are my favorite. The lace actually feels sturdy, not like it'll rip at any moment. It's just a really cute dress. I may even wear it for Christmas! How would you style it for holiday times? I'd love to get some ideas from you! dress: c/o oasap | tights: target kids' section | shoes: boohoo | headband: forever 21 | belt: thrifted I can't believe it's already Friday. I'm done with my Christmas shopping after yesterday so it feels good to have that checked off my list. I actually enjoy Christmas shopping though. I have packing to do for our trip up north and Matt and I will be exchanging presents today. Actually my family opens essentia...

Acid Wash Skinny Jeans, Polka Dot Crop Top, & a Mustard Cardigan

Image
My style can really fluctuate from day to day! Sometimes I want to be super retro and other days I want to be trendy and cool. I know I was scoffing at acid wash jeans in stores a year ago but then I saw these while browsing Boohoo and a light bulb went off. They all of a sudden were super cool to me. I really enjoy a lot of 80s trends so why shouldn't I try this one? They're an especially great pair of jeans because they're acid wash in a modern skinny cut (with a flattering butt area - not mom jeans at all). Needless to say, they're a new favorite now.  This time I paired them with my polka dot crop top (which was a bit too cold even though these pictures were taken in October) and my trusty mustard cardigan. This cardigan is on its last legs though. I definitely got my money's worth but I'm on the lookout for a new one! jeans: boohoo | top: forever 21 | cardigan: target | boots: boohoo | headband: forever 21 It was super windy the d...
