Black Lace Dress, Neon Blue Tights, Houndstooth Flats, & a Spiky Headband

Happy Friday everyone! Here's an outfit I wore yesterday while running errands and going to the movies to see Frozen (which was great). This is a new dress I got from Oasap with some credits. I figured I could style a black lace dress in a ton of different ways. The sheer lace sleeves on this dress are my favorite. The lace actually feels sturdy, not like it'll rip at any moment. It's just a really cute dress. I may even wear it for Christmas! How would you style it for holiday times? I'd love to get some ideas from you!

I can't believe it's already Friday. I'm done with my Christmas shopping after yesterday so it feels good to have that checked off my list. I actually enjoy Christmas shopping though. I have packing to do for our trip up north and Matt and I will be exchanging presents today. Actually my family opens essentially all of our presents to and from one another before we leave, so that'll be happening soon. Hooray presents!

I freakin love this dress and especially love that you wore it running errands/to the movies. I have to start wearing my "fancier" stuff doing that again. I've gotten into the habit of jeans and a sweater, which is bizarre for me!

I think you have styled it to perfection! It looks so quirky with the pop of blue and houndstooth. If it were me, I'd probably play safe with polka dot tights and red high heels for a Christmas look. Oh yes, Frozen was too good! I remember hearing rumors on the net back in 99 about disney doing both a repunzel and snow queen/briar rose movie and even though it took sooo long for the movie to come about, it was fantastic! I took the kids to see it last weekend and we all loved it. :). I also really like the bright tights with the lace dress, it's very playful looking!

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
