Happy Friday everyone! I won't lie. These pictures may have the best lighting of any outfit pictures I've ever taken and that makes me very happy. Dealing with the mosquitoes and heat was worth it. So I may need to trek over there in the future. I think the golden hour lighting really compliments my sheer galaxy print skirt. I know this skirt is "so last year" but I still like it. The print is very cool! I like trying different pattern combinations with it. Last year I paired my leopard print crop top with it but this time I went with polka dots. There's a dotty thing going on in the skirt's pattern so somehow it works. Happy Monday everyone! I'm sorry this video is going up late but the weekend was busy so I'm behind on blogging stuff. I thought I'd give you a glimpse at my trip out to Athens last month for AthFest. There's a short video right in the middle of this post. Sometimes I feel like you get a better idea of the way something was through video rather than still photography. I just took a few clips while walking around downtown that day and pieced them together, so take a look at that if you're interested! I'm kicking myself for not going to AthFest any of the other years I've been in Athens. Now that I'm moving back home (and then to a mystery location after this phase of my life), I'm not sure if I'll have the opportunity to go out there next year. Happy Tuesday everyone! I've decided to introduce a new feature for Tuesdays since my Tuesday Tunes weren't the most well-loved part of my blog. That's not to say I won't feature music videos here sometimes, but this opens up Tuesday for other videos, including my own! If I've uploaded a video, it'll always be shared here on Tuesday whether it's featured in its own post or not. Plus I can include other fun videos I enjoyed. Hopefully this new feature will go over well. I, however, will not guarantee it being a weekly feature. It may be bi-weekly, but I'll let you know. To start out, here is my first ever haul video. Happy Friday everyone! This post is a first for this blog because it includes an outfit video ! Sometimes it's nice to see how an outfit looks in motion. Plus most of you have never seen me moving around like an actual person. I may sit a lot but I promise I move in real life. Now you have proof. I definitely paid less than $1 for it. It always looks good paired with red and yellow so here it is with a yellow skirt. I think I should probably try it with other colors in the future though. I entered a contest to be the next host on a live TV program for preschoolers and today I'm sharing the audition video with you! Working on kids' TV is my dream job so I really really would love to win.  For the audition we had to talk about a theme for the week and sing the Sprout birthday song. Now I realize that this is probably the first time you've heard me talk and I'm talking to you in a super animated version of my normal voice, but that's a-okay! It's okay if you laugh. My dancing skills are pretty fantastic after all. The YouTube views don't officially count, but I'm sure it can't hurt if people watch the video, like it, and  give positive comments .  (I had filmed and submitted this video in HD but for whatever reason they downgraded the quality, so I apologize.) I know I said I'd show you yesterday, but I got busy. Sorry! I got my rook pierced on my right ear. It's cool and I love it. It's quite sore right now though, but that's to be expected since I just got it done Friday afternoon. I went into the shop wanting an industrial so bad, but it turns out I can't get that since my ears aren't the right shape. I was sad, then I got over it and decided on my rook piercing! I had the guys there recommend some piercings based on the shape of my ear. Apparently my rook is perfect for piercing. Who knew. Jeanie had her tragus pierced.  Now you have the delightful option of watching me get my ear pierced. Yes, there's a video! It's not a close up so you don't have to worry about seeing anything gross, although mine didn't bleed much anyway.
