Graduation Pictures with Awesome People

My graduation wouldn't have been any fun without my family being there. My favorite pictures were ones with them and with Matt, so I decided I should post some of those.

You'll probably notice we're not a serious bunch.

However this first picture is my favorite picture of me and Matt ever.


Family picture time! We like to think of varied and unique poses to keep the pictures interesting. I like to call this one "check face". It's a classic.

I hope you all had a nice weekend! All of my graduation festivities are over after my party yesterday. I'm pretty sure I won't subject you to any more graduation pictures. Thanks for all the congratulations!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
