Perfect Dresses for Valentine's Day 2014

Happy Sunday! Since Valentine's Day is around the corner I figured it was time to look at pretty dresses. Unfortunately I don't have the funds to buy a new dress for Valentine's Day, but I can still look at them! I would be happy to wear any of these dresses for a date night. As you can see, I gravitate toward the traditional red and pink colors of the holiday, but I also really love a nice white lace dress or a blue dress for the occasion. You can definitely rock any color for Valentine's day! I just tend to add heart details or wear romantic lace to keep with a festive Valentine theme.

Love these dresses! #2 is definitely my favorite. But I'm also kind of loving the firs dress too. I'm hoping I have enough extra money to buy a Valentine's Day dress this year! Especially one like this!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
