Please excuse my disheveled appearance today. Mom and I picked a friend's vegetable garden while they were out of town. So naturally we got rained on! I asked her to snap a couple outfit shots before we left.

Tomatoes!


I look so goofy in these pictures. Hooray me!

This dress is a few years old, but I love the patriotic colors in it. I didn't even need accessories to complete the red, white, and blue look. I'm not one of those that needs to be subtle - especially on a holiday. I tend to go all out with color schemes. Subtle holiday outfits are nice too, don't get me wrong. Just any excuse to go all out is a good enough excuse for me. Must be my theatrical side.

I hope all you US people are having a great day off and that everyone else is having a nice Monday!

That is a really cute dress with great details and a lovely print! Nice Ross find =) And I love that your sunglasses came from Big Lots. I used to go there all the time with my mom. It used to be called Pic 'N' Save in California.

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
