Christmas Wishlist: Jo Totes Bag, Scarves, & an External Flash

Happy Monday everyone and happy winter break to me! Everyone is making Christmas wishlists, so I had to jump on the bandwagon. Oddly, mine is not filled with clothes this year. Though I wouldn't be unhappy with more clothes... Anyway, here it is.



1. A Burr Coffee Grinder (like this Cuisinart burr grinder that's on sale)- because I've been enjoying making French presses lately and the more uniform grind would be better for that.

2. Urban Decay Double Ended 24/7 Eye Pencil

3. An External Flash - because sometimes you have to use flash and the on-board one just is not good enough. (Matt bought me this compact Sunpak flash, but I haven't opened it yet!)

4. Basic Flat Black Boots (like these boots from Urban Outfitters)

5. Scarves (like this pretty yellow Cider House Infinity Scarf)- particularly ones in solid colors or leopard print that aren't too warm because it doesn't get that cold here.

6. The Jo Totes Gracie Bag in Butterscotch. My parents already ordered it for me, so I know I'm getting it and I'm so pumped!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
