Grad Party Outfit: Polka Dot Dress, Red Belt, & Rose Gold Heels

Happy Wednesday everyone!
This is what I wore for my graduation party last Friday. You know, the one where I had no speech whatsoever. At least I could still smile and gesture! I grabbed some mini balloons to pose with to make this outfit even more graduation-tastic. This whole look is definitely UGA inspired with the red and black color scheme. I'm always glad my school colors aren't obnoxious!

Now that all my graduation celebrating is over I guess it's time to move on to the next thing. I'm unsure what that will be though. I feel like I have so much crap to get together before epic job hunting can begin. I figure I can take the rest of the month to catch up on things I've neglected this past year. Transitions are hard! Working will be much better than grad school though, I can assure you. I'm so happy to be done.

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
