Where did the week go? I meant to post this earlier in the week, but oh well. It has been unusually cool outside the past couple days when the past two weekends we spent time at the pool. Georgia weather is so weird. I wore this to work a little while back but could have easily broke out my tights again yesterday! 

This blue romper is surprisingly work-appropriate due to the length of the shorts and being so covered up on top. I enjoy how perfectly it fits, the great bright blue color, and that it's lace - because who can have too many lace things anyway? You can see how I wore it to work last year here. This time I styled it on a cool day with some plain black tights and my comfy wedge ankle boots from Target. The sunglasses were a necessary addition while walking around after work. Because I don't tend to wear my sunglasses inside. (No judgment if you do.)

How was your week? Mine actually went by pretty quickly! I started the May Blogilates calendar last Sunday and have kept up with it pretty well. I'm actually kind of impressed with myself because I'm definitely not a fitness type of girl. If you haven't checked out Blogilates, you should. You may think the workouts are all bubbly and fun but they're actually hard! I'm trying to get through the month. We'll see how long my will holds out.

Anyway, how was your week? Tell me all about it! Do you have any fun weekend plans? We're probably doing a brewery tour tomorrow and Matt and I are going out to lunch with his mom. The plans include eating and drinking so they're great in my book!

Adorable! I just picked up a white lace romper, maybe I can get away with it at work one of these days. And Blogilates is great! I don't follow the calendar religiously, but I do her videos once or twice a week. That's a big accomplishment that you've been sticking with it, it's definitely not as easy as it looks! ;)

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
