I'm Ridiculous

These pants are ridiculous, but I had to. They actually came with suspenders, but I took them off for this outfit. They're not the most flattering things and I really don't know how to style them, but I tried.

pants: thrifted
top: thrifted
cardigan: so...; kohls
shoes: xhileration; target

But really, how does one make these flattering? I'll do a with-suspenders outfit sometime in the near future.

This is my butt shot.
Pretty sexy, right?

Power stance!

Oh dear. Well. Now we all know I have little shame. I walked around in these on campus, but didn't notice any strange looks. Didn't notice is the main idea here. I'm sure people were like, "Whaaaat? That girl cuuuraaayzeeee!"

In other news, according to my school a flannel shirt and jeans is deemed "fancy" now. Who knew? I had a blazer on too, so maybe that's what was so fancy about my outfit. I dared walk into the cool weather sans sweatshirt! I will never understand the so-called "style" of the UGA undergrads.

Happy Friday!

First off, I think the pants are amazing. Second, I would much rather be the girl everyone thinks is crazy for wearing crazy pants than some boring dime-a-dozen sweatshirt college girl.

I think these pants are pretty awesome, and looks great with the polka dot top! It boggles my mind the way some people dress at school, sweatpants suck

Those pants look wonderful on you! I really mean it. I think I would wear it with a black lace top and some cognac coloured wedges. This combination is wonderful too!

Well I know why everyone was staring at you... because they were jealous! You wear these pants with such a beautiful confidence that I admire... I think you look absolutely great! <3

...and I know this might sound odd but your makeup looks exceptionally pretty, as well! xx

bahaha It's so refreshing to see a style blogger who doesn't take fashion so darn seriously! Personally, I think you look amazing in those pants. Highwaisted trousers always elude me on my thrifting trips, so I'm super impressed when I see a gal rocking a pair that really fits her.

I kind of love those pants. I think highwaisted pants are super flattering. I like the outfit as a whole. Don't second guess yourself! :)

haha sometimes you just have to go with a piece, and yeah they are unflattering to people used to skinny low rise jeans but they are awesome so screw that!

Hooray for being brave enough to sport the challenging pants! I think you styled them just right. You could wear something super bright on top next time so as to distract people from the pants if you feel weird.
(stylist's trick: distraction!) :)
I just realized I haven't followed you on google yet. Silly me!

I love this post! Yeah, pants like those are bad unless you're seven feet tall and a negative size, BUT I still kind of dig it. You're awesome.
