Yes, I Do Wear Jeans

I often get asked if I ever wear jeans/pants/things-of-that-nature. The answer is yes, but I like to try to make jeans outfits "not boring". I just think there's more outfit variety and therefore more fun if I keep my dresses and skirts in regular rotation. They're more fun to style - according to me. As I have a couple weeks of sitting around the house for winter break I feel myself being drawn to my jeans more and more. I'll be wearing them when I don't have to go anywhere special.

belt: forever 21?

I love these jeans so much. When I have a real grown-up job I'll be getting another pair of custom jeans!

As of right now I'm done with fall semester and am home for the break. Hooray! Everything is Christmas-y here. It's going to be a good 3ish weeks, I can feel it.

i know what you mean bout jeans sometimes creating boring outfits and trying to avoid that, i generally stay away. here you look lovely and it's certainly not boring! love the length of the jeans as well.

Those jeans look amazing on you! I love the fit. I wear jeans maybe too much, and spend probably too much money finding the "perfect" pair. I love trying to figure out new ways to style them, though I agree it can easily become boring if you let it!

I'm a big fan of what I call "pajama dresses," which are really just jersey knit skater dresses . They're comfortable enough to sleep in, yet can look 100% put-together if styled nicely. Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
