My Graduation Pictures
Here's some of my non-cap and gown graduation pictures. We took so many pictures it was hard to pick just a few! Maybe I'll throw in some of the more fun ones with me and my family another time, but these are just me. I got to wear my new Shabby Apple red lace dress. It had to be altered a little because I'm short waisted, but I'm really happy with how it looked on me afterward. I want to wear this dress all the time, but that would be frowned upon.
I got to swing on the Chapel Bell again!
I'm a sundial wizard?
Most of my favorite pictures from this day are with my family. There's even a good one of me and Matt (which is a rarity)! Maybe this weekend I'll share a couple of those.
Looking at these pictures makes me want to go put on this dress again! I really like how classic it is. I also like how I probably won't look back at these pictures in years and wonder what I was thinking.
I can't believe it's already been a week since graduation.
Happy Friday!

I have to admit, I could have done without all the graduation robes and the rest of it too. It didn't really help matters that I got shouted at by some busybody from the robes company for being "improperly dressed", even though someone else from the same company had helped me with the robes and assured me that I was properly dressed. Tassel dangling from the correct side of the mortarboard and everything. It was a blazing hot day, I was wearing a silly robe and hat, my feet were killing me, everyone was getting in my face with a camera and I was worried about the graduate jobs market. I really was not in the mood to be shouted at by a complete stranger. I was What really irritated me about my graduation though (Well, one of many things!) was the fact that one guy was prevented from going up on stage to get his degree just because he was wearing trainers. The guy in my class with a massive great purple mohawk was allowed to go on stage, but not the guy in the trainers. And this was after one of the speakers had made this impassioned speech about encouraging individuality and not following the crowd. It was all I could do not to laugh myself into oblivion then and there.
But anyway, these pictures are lovely. It's always nice to see graduation pictures without the robes, if that makes sense. :)
