Floral Pants & a Red Scalloped PepaLoves Bag

How is it Monday already?
Here's a casual outfit I wore yesterday for an early dinner with Matt and some super exciting grocery shopping. I want to wear these floral pants a few more times before it's uncomfortably hot outside! 

PepaLoves kindly sent me this adorable red scalloped purse from their summer collection. It adds a pretty pop of color to any outfit. There are also plenty of pockets and two separate sections inside, which is always a plus in a purse! I've never been a "bag girl" (I'd rather buy a billion shoes) but I'm very excited about carrying this bag around this summer.

I just realized there's a red-green color scheme going on in this outfit. It was unintentional, but I like unexpected color combinations! I actually wore an outfit with these colors around the same time last year.

Oh gosh, I'm loving so much of this! These floral pants are the coolest and I'm just smitten with that bag. I need to get myself a red bag, it seems perfect for summer.

I'm like you, I always tend to want to buy shoes over..well anything else, which would be why my closet is overflowing with shoes going EVERYWHERE.

But! I do love that bag, the scallops make it unique and are such a fun detail. And those floral pants.. uhm, they're kind of like the perfect floral pant, and that's coming from a girl that refuses to give into the floral pant trend (I did buy some floral shorts though, tehe).

Yay, the H&M pants! I have a similar red bag (not scalloped and as cute as this, though), and I wore it with these pants too...they look really good with red! And green. And red and green together :)

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
