Happy Monday everyone! This will be the last holiday-time post but I figured I better get it over with and show you what I wore on the 4th. I decided to go for ultimate comfort and wear these stretchy blue shorts with a striped t-shirt. The gold accessories made everything even more festive! It's not a particularly cutting edge outfit but it's what I wore, it was colorful, and I liked it.

shorts & top: forever 21 | shoes: xhileration - target | necklace: vintage from great grandma | hair bow: ?

Did you guys have a good weekend? I spent the holiday eating ribs and drinking margaritas with my family and family friends. The rest of the weekend was relaxing overall. I got a couple things checked off my to-do list too. Hooray! It feels like I'm starting to get into the groove of summer and my part time freelance work. This month I have to start hardcore looking for a full-time real adult job though. My time of taking it easy after finishing grad school is about done. So we'll see how that pans out.
I hope you all have a great start to your week!

I'm in full time job search mode right now, aside from shop work, and it sure can get tedious. Wishing you the best on your search! Sounds like a wonderful weekend w/ your family & you always have the best festive outfits.
Hi! I just found your blog via Thriftburgher and I'm so glad I did! Your look is super cute and patriotic + the shoes remind me of fireworks on the Fourth, haha. I'll be following you now!
Good luck with the job hunt! It's always good to take a little bit of a break before heading into adulthood, and then take many many breaks whilst there ;)
Awesome outfit for the occasion!
Oh my goodness I love these shorts!!! And they look amazing on you :) Hope you had a lot of fun celebrating Independence Day and good luck with your full-time real adult job hunt ;-) xo
Those shoes are amazing, some people are turned off by sparkles but I think those are just straight up fabulous. Of course maybe they are too much for certain outfits but not that one! Its just perfect. Also good luck job hunting, I am so glad Im going back for grad school so I can not have to focus on jobs and job hunting quite as much.
