Outfit: Donut Print Bodysuit with Light Green Shorts, White Sandals, & Pink Sparkly Sunglasses

I'm so excited to show you the first way I wore my donut print bodysuit! This print is seriously the best. First, it's donuts and I love to eat donuts. Second, the pastel color scheme is extremely cute. I felt like the pastel donut fairy wearing this outfit and that was a-okay with me. Pairing this print with light green shorts definitely added to that feel. 

I've organized my jewelry since moving back home so I was reacquainted with a bunch of things that were tangled up together or hidden. All of the beaded necklaces I wore so often a few years back were all of a sudden visible to me again! I decided on this clear and frosted necklace. Unfortunately it would pull my hair in the back when it was long. Now that my hair is short it doesn't give me any problems! Then I threw on my sparkly pink dollar store sunglasses. Sadly their frame cracked the day I wore this so they'll probably have to go to the cheap sunglasses graveyard soon.

Are you guys having a good start to your week? I'll be trying to get some work done before leaving for Las Vegas next week. I'm super pumped for our trip but I'm still thinking about what outfits to bring. Mom made me an awesome martini print dress so that'll be worn on Jeanie's birthday. I can't wait to show you guys what it looks like! 

Anyway, I'm sorry I really only had clothes-related things to talk about today! Have a great Monday!

YES. I'm so glad to see the donut print in an outfit post, and your styling here is SPOT ON! The color and whimsical cut of the shorts works perfectly, and the necklace reminds me of sugar :)

D00D you look donut-tacular. In the preview picture I seriously thought you just had a donut plastered to each boob and was so absolutely ecstatic, but this is even better because it's actually practical.

I remember the doughnut bodysuit from your video a few weeks ago. I loved it and was looking forward to seeing how you styled it. This is perfect with the beautiful shade of green. The bodysuit is one of my favourite pieces of yours and truly represents your style. Also, that video you made was really excellent. You were so natural in front of the camera.

That donut print bodysuit is SO YOU!!! I seriously love this outfit so much and the little scalloped mint shorts just add the perfect touch to them! Also, the fact that your necklace is frosted just totally cracked me up because it made think "oh, that totally matches the donut theme! like frosting on donuts...mmm"? Hahahahah. Hopefully I'm not crazy for thinking that because well, that's the first thing that came to mind!

Botanical Fun

These pictures are from my outing to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which just so happens to be conveniently located about 8 minutes from my apartment. There were still a nice amount of flowers blooming so it was really pretty. I decided I needed to get more wears out of my pretty Steal the Game Show dress from Modcloth so I took some inspiration from other bloggers and wore it as a skirt! I actually really liked how this outfit turned out. Leather Scalloped Skirt, Polka Dots, & Orange Tights

Happy weekend everyone! I just had the most lazy weird Friday ever, so I'm updating later than usual. I basically slept on and off since class got done at noon. I know, I'm pretty exciting. This outfit was fun today though! I wore my leather skirt that we recently DIY scallop hemmed. I may post a little tutorial of sorts on how to do that, but it's pretty self explanatory. I like that the skirt is a little shorter now. It still squeezes my insides right at the waist, but it's more comfortable now that I'm having a few skinny months. Leather just doesn't have any give!
